Big Event: Find /w/ objects to put in our little wagon. Nursery Rhyme: Wee Willie Winkie Read: Peter and the Wolf Movie: We watched Peter and the Wolf and listened for the different instruments in the story. Read: We also read the story: DONALD CRIES WOLF!

Music: Mrs. Newman 9:15-9:35 Consonant Cards: We read... Wacky Walrus and added /w/ word to our Ww Chart. Nursery Rhyme: Review-Wee Willie Winkie Math: We made a clock. Read: Bundle Up! by Ann Morris & Elizabeth Falconer Art: We began to make our Snowmen

Story: THE MITTEN ( A Russian folktale) ART: We colored the characters of the story to retell to you tonight. Discrimination Skill: We listened to Mrs. Fink say two words. We have to be good listeners\ to observe the differences.

Library: Mr.Martin 9:20-9:40 Theme: Snowakes are different Story:The Little Snowake We learned a good lesson about each of us being different and have special qualities. Science: Snowakes have 6 sides. We make snowakes with pattern blocks. We also made FROST.

Theme: GROUNDHOG DAY SCIENCE: Will the groundhog see his SHADOW? * What makes a shadow. ART: We made popup Groundhogs. Will we have 6 more weeks of WINTER?
