We had a lovely Remembrance Day assembly on Tuesday. The grade 1, 2 and 3 classes presented various poems and songs and Constable Payne from the Kimberley RCMP joined us in his regimental dress uniform. We covered the letter S this week in Sound Connections. Students made their own Sassy Snakes using beads and pipe cleaners in an ABC pattern. Ask your child to say their pattern out loud Our new poem is Poppy, Poppy. It has been added to our red poetry duotangs and the kids are bringing it home this weekend to share with you! We did an Ss letter story on Friday. Ask your child to read their story to you this weekend! Mrs. Keiver read the Rabbit and Bear Paws story about Honesty this week. A reminder that the creators of the Rabbit and Bear Paws books coming to our school on Thursday November 19 th to do a puppet play for us at 10:45 am!
