Heres What Were Learning
Upcoming Events
Reading: This week the kindergarteners
will begin their study of the letter Cc. We
will also be reading The Picnic at Apple
Park.
Math: We are well into our second math
unit that focuses on sorting objects by
size, color, shape, etc. Our unit two test
will be on September 26th!
Religion: The kindergarteners will be
learning about the Ten Commandments
and the story of Moses. We will be
creating a Ten Commandments art project
on Thursday.
Science: We be studying the four seasons
and exploring how humans behavior is
affected by the seasons. Be sure to wish

Reminders
Our class will begin discussing the Letter
Sounds Club this week. Kindergarteners are
expected to identify all the letters of the
alphabet as well as their sounds. Once your
child knows all their letters and sounds they
will become a member of the Letter Sounds
Club! Students who are members of the club
will receive a ribbon to take home and will
have their name placed on a bulletin board
