The center was the dream of three couples who purchased the building directly across the street from the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. After seeing our outreach in Milwaukee, the Madison group knew they wanted a center in their community. One of the rst young women served was a graduate student. She had received birth control from Planned Parenthood and was dismayed to nd out she was pregnant. However, after counseling and an ultrasound, she chose life instead. Experience has shown that locating beautiful and comforting centers near places that perform abortions can touch the hearts of even the most abortion-minded women.
