Travelling the Chilkoot Pass with Heidi Butters. Preregistration is required. Call 250-392-3630 or come to the front desk. This story time is for children under the age of three. Parent participation is required. Runs every Friday. This program is free and drop-in. Join us for stories and simple crafts and lots of FUN Join us for stories and fun. The library will be hosting a Valentines Day Craft for children aged 5-12. Please register in person or by phone. Space is limited. This is a free program for 3-5 year old. But with the terrain melting beneath them, the dogs break through the surface, plunging into frigid polar waters. Navarana, an elder and one of the passengers on this sled, is coming to terms with the unprecedented changes facing all Arctic peoples. In the 1860s, Navaranas visionary ancestora shaman from Baffin Island, Canada, named Qitdlarssuaqembarked on a legendary and epic journey, leading an Inuit migration to Greenland.
