Travelling the Chilkoot Pass with Heidi Butters. Preregistration is required. Call 250-392-3630 or come to the front desk. This story time is for children under the age of three. Parent participation is required. Runs every Friday. This program is free and drop-in. Join us for stories and simple crafts and lots of FUN Join us for stories and fun. Need some help with your basic computer skills? Want to set up an email account or learn how to surf the net? Make an appointment with our computer tutor. Call 250-392-3630 or come to the front desk. The library will be hosting a Valentines Day Craft for children aged 5-12. Please register in person or by phone. Space is limited. This is a free program for 3-5 year old. It is drop-in and no registration is required. Join us for stories and simple crafts and lots of FUN. Runs every Wednesday. Bangkok, India and Tokyo with Carl Johnson and Katalin Szauer. Knitting, crocheting, tips and help. Learn how to use the excellent genealogical resources Ancestry Library edition. A dog team pulls an Inuit family across the vast sea ice of Greenland. But with the terrain melting beneath them, the dogs break through the surface, plunging into frigid polar waters. Navarana, an elder and one of the passengers on this sled, is coming to terms with the unprecedented changes facing all Arctic peoples. In the 1860s, Navaranas visionary ancestora shaman from Baffin Island, Canada, named Qitdlarssuaqembarked on a legendary and epic journey, leading an Inuit migration to Greenland.
