OBJECTIVE
This is ease a new method it retain
the rotor phase variables to examine
the transient and steady state
performance of a slip power recovery
system
SCOPE
The operation of slip power recovery
induction motor drives to control the
speed and also to reduce the total
harmonic of the inverter voltage.
The three phase source provides the
input to the induction motor.
METHODOLOGY
Potential transformer
Precision Rectifier
PIC
PWM Inverter
IGBT or MOSFET
BLOCK DIAGRAM
FUNCTION
The output from the induction motor goes
to the bridged rectifier block
Rectifier block it passed on to the filter
where the dc output from the rectifier gets
filtered and it is passed to the inverter
block.
From the inverter block it goes to the
transformer side where the voltage either
gets step down or step up and the voltage
from the transformer gets added with the
source voltage.
ADVANTAGES

The reference speed is set and the

output speed should be equal to the
reference speed .

The total harmonic distortion should

be less.
APPLICATION
Industrial cranes
Lift
Conveyors Belt
Harbour Logistics
