Welcome to the COSAD Annual Benefit Event for the people of Tanzania! Current
projects in the Bukoba area (near Lake Victoria) are in place to promote economic
independence and community development, improve health, and increase literacy.

Simba (Lion) Circle
Your donation of $5000 could pay for 20,000 books to be shipped from Books for Africa
to Bukoba to start the first library in the region.
Tembo (Elephant) Circle
Your donation of $1000 could provide a one year scholarship to nursing
school to a young woman chosen by her village.
Faru (Rhinoceros) Circle
Your donation of $500 could fund 5 new businesses with
no-interest microloans. When paid back they go toward
new business ventures.
Nyati (Buffalo) Circle:
Your donation of $100 could purchase a goat for a widow.
The milk can be sold and the first kid born is given
to another family in need.
Chui (Leopard) Circle
Your donation of $50 could pay a construction
worker one month’s salary to work on
building the community center and clinic.
