Our Purpose
The purpose of our campaign is to bring
awareness to the multitude of different
service opportunities available to students.
We want to show how easy it is to serve, and
how rewarding it can be.
How are we doing it?
Our team has researched different
organizations that allow for volunteer help,
and have chosen a few of these organizations
to volunteer. While volunteering we have
documented our experience and have
compiled the footage into a video that has
been posted to YouTube.
We will also be presenting our campaign in
detail to our class fellow classmates.
Why are we doing it?
We have chosen to do a service awareness
project to encourage those who may not be
interested in serving to go out and serve. We

Utah Food Bank
About
The Utah Food Bank collects food donations
that they then distribute throughout Utah to
feed those in need. The Utah Food Bank also
has other programs that focus on certain
demographics such as the Food Box Program,
which is geared towards seniors.

Deseret Industries Humane Society
About
Although Deseret Industries are known for
their thrift store, they do much more. The
DI provides on-the-job experience, and
career and technical education. They also
reach out to local communities that may
need help, and provide grants. Lastly, all
items not sold at the DI are sent off for
humanitarian relief. Helping out with Lexie at the Humane Society
