THE COMPETITION is reality TV program and talent show is organized to discover the talents of the people of Central Luzon,

unravel and optimize their star potential, and in the process, inspire other people to work hard and follow their dreams. e competition is also a powerful avenue where contestants are given a wider scope of recognition through Central Luzon TV 36s extensive media network and coverage. Such exposure is seen as a stepping stone for the contestants to realize their dreams. e prize packages are attractive, providing an assurance of high in ux of contestants from the seven provinces of Central Luzon namely Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales. THE HOST e competition is hosted by Andy Alviz, a multi-awarded international choreographer of Miss Saigon Asia and one of the countrys respected concert choreographers and stage directors. A proli c composer, Andy is also the founder of Arti Sta. Rita and Maarti, two of Pampangas premier theater groups. He is also the host of CLTV36 programs Spotlight and K.E.M. Vote (Ka-Rehiyon, Everyone Must Vote!)

COMPETITION GUIDELINES e competition is open to any talented group or individual in Central Luzon. Performers 16 years old and above may join the competition. Any talent is accepted, ranging from awesome to funny to even the weird. For hopefuls in groups, the number of members is 20. e series of auditions will be held at the Robinsons Starmills and the other Robinsons Malls and Supermarkets in Central Luzon. After the six-day auditions, an unlimited number of semi- nalists will be chosen. All seven provinces will be represented. From the semi nalists, only 10 nalists will be vying for the rst ever STAR MILL: Central Luzons Search for the Star in a Million Championship Title. A waiver will be signed by the contestants for protection against unavoidable injuries incurred during the auditions, semi- nals and the nals. Any minors (16 and 17 years old) auditioning must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. e audition judges and screening committee reserve the right and the exclusive judgment to reject any applicant deemed as un t for the competition. e decision of the board of judges is nal and irrevocable. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS 1) A contestant should be at least 16 years old. 2) Contestants who are 16 and 17 years old should have a written and signed parental consent. 3) Enclosed in a long brown envelope: 2x2 picture of each member, 1 group picture, original NSO Birth Certi cate (with clear photocopy), one (1) of the following valid IDs with clear photocopy (Drivers license, SSS, GSIS, PhilHealth, Postal, Voter, Senior Citizen, School, Company, etc.), Original Barangay Certi cates for non-natives who have resided in any Central Luzon province for at least 1 year. 3) Contestants should have no existing management contract. 4) Contestants must be ready with their impressive performances and materials (costumes, props, music, etc.) Each contestant will be given 60 seconds to show their talents. 5) Contestants are not allowed to use sharp objects, weapons or pyrotechnic substances and use vulgar or obscene words. No violent performances. 6) Contestants should not be related up to the third degree of consanguinity to any CLTV36 employees, Robinsons Malls employees and the Central Luzons Search for the Star in a Million sta.

SCORING & SMS VOTING Sun Cellular will be the ocial telecommunications network of the competition. Each nalist will have a code corresponding number for text voting. 40% of the contestants nal scores shall come from the judges, and the other 40% shall come from the Sun Cellular text votes, and 20% shall come from the Robinsons Shoppers Choice (a 300-peso purchase entitles the customer to 1 vote). SCREENING AND JUDGING ere will be a pre-screening committee during the auditions, which will evaluate and screen aspiring contestants before they can be given a ticket or a go signal to perform in front of the audition judges. A judging committee will also be present during the elimination rounds of the competition to select the contestants who will move on to the semi nals. ere will be (2) main judges and 1-3 guest judges from the semi nals up to the grand nals. e two main-stay judges have the power to save one contestant from elimination, beginning from the Top 10 up until the Top 6. e judges decision should be unanimous when using this one save.
