I would venture to say Stephen King is the best writer of all time. He really brings the reader into his view in this writing. He made me feel like I was right there with him staring over his shoulder watching him right in his basement. I felt like I could literally see him there writing. He knows how to really bring the reader in and engage them. As for the words and writing being like telepathy, it may be a stretch but he explains himself fairly well. The thing with King is that he can make analogies that are stretches because he can focus the reader in on really focusing and understanding what he is writing.
