President Jacob Zumas sixth wife works as head of communications and marketing at JIC Mining Services, reported the Mail & Guardian. The newspaper further reported the Guptas are linked to a R3.8 million bond on Ngema-Zumas Pretoria house, granted by Indias Bank of Baroda

The Free State Premiers son, Tshepiso, is employed by Mabengela Investments a company belonging to Rajesh Gupta and Duduzane Zuma. City Press reported in 2011 that the Guptas loaned Tshepiso a BMW Z4 from their eet of cars

President Jacob Zumas daughter was appointed as a director of Sahara Computers in June 2008 six months after her father was elected ANC president. But she resigned from three Sahara companies in September 2009

The former minister in the presidency under president Thabo Mbeki serves on the board of Sahara Holdings. He was previously a director of TNA Media and received funding from the Guptas to fund his magazine, The Thinker, which is published by Vusizwe Media

The former chief operating officer of Independent Newspapers is now the chief executive of TNA Media, which publishes The New Age. The company also plans to launch a 24-hour news channel on DSTV soon

During an interview with City Press in 2011, the family said they had many politicians as friends. These included Human Settlements Minister Tokyo Sexwale and Mining Minister Susan Shabangu. Other high-prole politicians who attended the wedding was Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies, Public Enterprises Minister Malusi Gigaba, Home Affairs Minister Naledi Pandor, Ace Magashule and deputy ministers Ebrahim Ebrahim and Obed Bapela
