In three engaging installments, this annual gallery collection showcases the finest in the field of magic realism, demonstrating
the genre’s nature and diversity through a wide range of images. Guests of honor from around the world are featured in each

artists’ paintings or sculptures are also highlighted, including Claus Brusen, David Bowers, Steven Kenny, Kinuko Craft, Wolfgang
Harms, Ernst Fuchs, Michael Fuchs, Brigid Marlin, Miriam Escofet, Jack Lipowczan, and more. Providing galleries and curators

concise, accompanying explanations describe his vision for his individual
pieces. Featuring commentary on Brusen and his genre from a historical per-

The German state of Rhineland-Palatinate is illuminated in this picturesque guide that captures the incredible Ehrenbreit- 31
stein fortress complex. The site’s history is detailed, revealing how it served as a settlement starting as early as 3000 BC. The
dramatic changes the location has endured through the years are also chronicled, depicting its transformation from the most
important military installation of its era to a cultural and tourist highlight of the present day. The most extensive construc-
tion efforts ever conducted by the state of Rheinland-Pfalz on the Ehrenbreitstein are fully documented, as are the most re-
cent changes into a concise collection, presenting an impressive pictorial tour of this architectural masterpiece.
Oliver Feinauer is the executive director of Franken GmbH in Bendorf. He supervised the restoration of Festung Ehrenbreit-
stein. Matthias Brand is a freelance photographer specializing in promotional and industrial photography. Andrea Petry is
the executive director at P & P Agency for graphic design..
