The Rewards Of Fasting

The question is often asked, Why would a person fast? Why would anyone purposely go without food for days, weeks and even over a month and not eat?
called me into the ministry Ive fasted 3,000 days and over 9,000 meals. People say, You are gifted to be able to fast. Its easy for you. The fact is, fasting is not easy for me. I dont look at it as a gift, but rather an act of obedience. To be truthful, my flesh doesnt like to fast at all. The reason I fast for long periods of time and encourage others to do so is the enormous blessing that only comes when one humbles themselves through prayer and fasting. The rewards are hugh and bring bonuses and dividends in ones life that would have never happened if they had not fasted. Jesus said in Matthew 6:16-18, ...when ye fast... thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. The reward for fasting so far exceeds in physical discomfort, Ive never looked at fasting as even a sacrifice, but a weapon to achieve the impossible. The rewards is why I fast. Fasting brings you to the threshold of a new faith in God and His Word. Reading the Word of God and fasting are the great faith producers. Jesus taught that stubborn cases of unanswered prayer can only be overcome by prayer and fasting. And nothing shall be impossible unto you...by prayer and fasting. Matthew 17:10-21. Throughout the scriptures deeply spiritual men who obtained things in answer to prayer, always came to God on an empty stomach, either completely fasting or else living abstemiously. These men made history. These men include Moses who received the Ten Commandments on a fast, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, David, Jesus, all the apostles, Paul and every church listed in the New Testament. You may be surprised to know the word fast occurs twenty times in Scripture. Fasting is used seventeen times. Fasted is mentioned thirteen times, fastings four times and fasted once. This makes a total of fiftyfive references to the subject in the Bible. Jesus said in Matthew 6, He would reward you with an open blessing if you would fast. I want to share with you a few of the blessings and rewards Ive experienced through fasting.

here is discomfort, headaches and weakness. Continually people reply when you tell them you are fasting with the comment, Im sorry. Often others will say, Dont hurt yourself. I know they are being kind, but they are just ignorant of the physical and spiritual blessing of not eating. Over the years Ive encountered scores of ministers, theologians and lay people who have challenged me on the validity of fasting. They say this is not a New Testament principal, fasting is a privative dark age practice by monks in the Catholic Church and not for today. Often one is accused of being legalistic simply because they fast. At times Ive been excluded and even persecuted for my stand on fasting. Yet over the last thirty years I have fasted 50 to 150 days each year. Since God has

He Will Reward You Openly, Matthew 6:18 Our God is a rewarder of those who fast. In January 1989, I asked our congregation to join me in fasting the first three days of each month. By March of that year, people began to openly criticize me for my position on fasting. One of my deacons approached me and said, You cant tell us to fast!

them to come in. There is no room! was the response. I asked for extra chairs and made my way in and began shar ing what the Lord put on my heart. In the congrega tion was a man named Bob. Bobs wife brought him to the Miracle Service because he had cancer and hadnt eaten in over a week. After I prayed for Bob he went back to his seat and sat down. A few min utes later Bob leaned over to his wife and said, Ive got to go home. Why? she asked. Im so hungry. Bob ate and slept. Then he slept and ate. He did this for one week, and then he went to work. The Lord totally healed Bob. A short, bright eyed, Baptist lady was also at the Miracle Service. She came because she had a huge tumor the size of a grapefruit on her leg. We prayed for her. When she returned home her neigh bor asked her where she had gone. To the Miracle Service, she said. She pulled up her pant leg to show the neighbor the tumor was gone! That year the Lord healed 38 people. God opened the door for many miracles.

But eventually, I had 100 people that agreed to fast with me. We would fast on the first Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each month. I decided to end each fast with a Miracle Service held on Wednesday. I called for the Miracle Service to be held at Prayer Mountain, which was property that we had in Bullitt County. As I drove up to the lodge at Prayer Moun tain, I was not expecting much, but what I saw was a packed parking lot. I parked about mile from the lodge and walked up and saw people standing outside of the lodge. When I met them, I invited

January 1990 was the first church wide 21 Day Fast. We began to witness so many miracles directly related to the fast. After the third year of the 21 Day Fast, people were afraid not to get involved. The Miracle Service for 1990 was Sunday night, Super Bowl S u n d a y.

I didnt know what to expect. The church was packed; over 2300 people were in attendance. 1993 Dr. Cho asked me to sit on his Board of Directors. This changed the way I looked at every thing in ministry. This made me think different. The key to growth is Vision. As a man thinketh so he is.

1994 God spoke to me Walk the City. That year we added a prayer walk of 91 miles around our city to our time of fasting. So we walked. I gave people oil and we walked neighborhoods. One walk took us to a neighborhood across from an area seeped in immorality. As the people anointed the area and prayed, the transformer across the street exploded. God sent a great revival. 1995 - My first 40 day fast. A prophet came to me and told me that the Lord had said, If you will dou ble your prayer time, God will double your church.

But God was moving for us and many new people started attending. God sent the poor, African-American, Hispanic, multi-cultures and na tionalities. God spoke to me that He was changing the direction of our church and called me to reach the poor of our community. It was then that I received the revelation of the 5-fold gospel blessing and is the 3-fold blessings of Christ.

So I began praying twice a day. It occurred to me that if the Lord will do that for me if I double my praying, what about double my fast too. So my first

to the front line. A city official called me over to where he was. He told me that he had tracked my walk around the city every day. The areas where I carried the cross, crime had dropped in that area of the city. He said to me, By order of the city, carry the Cross I knew God would send a revival. I heard about this young evangelist and had him come. For 5 weeks God moved in a mighty way. We brought in an in flatable swimming pool to the center of our church, right in front of the plat form. As I stood in the pool the water was up to my pockets. People started coming from all over the auditorium with a great urgency to follow Jesus

He asked me to speak to the Presi dent of Liberia on his behalf and deliver a message of peace. I did so and the United Nations got in volved in the peace settlement and used our sta tions to broadcast peace to Liberia and throughout many nations in Africa.

It was during this fast that the church was in the pro cess of purchasing the property on Billtown Road. It was my habit to write Deuteronomy 11 on my checks as I gave in the offerings. At that time I was trying to sell my house. I put $100.00 in the offer ing and claimed my promise. After that service the visiting preacher told me that he needed $25,000. I told him I would help him raise the money and he could take up an offering the next night at church. I told the Lord when I sell my house; I would give to help raise that offering. The truth of the matter was that in six months we had not gotten even one inquiry about the house. The next night (Thursday) during the service I put in $1000.00 in the offering. By Sunday I had 3 offers on my house. That week I gave $100,000. 2002 was also the year I built two radio stations in Liberia. It was a very bad time for the nation of Li

2007 In February after the fast, the Minister of Tourism in Israel contacted me to start a radio sta tion in the Holy Land. While I was there, I met a lady. She approached me and asked if I was Bob Rodg ers. I said yes and she gave me this prophecy. God said that He would use me in the Holy Land and He would give me a great ministry there. That year I smuggled suitcase radios in Israel and we began broadcasting the Gospel.

April of 2007 Evangel Charlestown, Indiana was established. Margaret Rodgers was the Pastor. June 2007 Evangel Elizabethtown, Kentucky opened. 2008 On the 20th day of this fast God gave me the revelation of the 100- fold blessing. It is given to those who give, pray and fast. The Lord asked me, How much money do you have? I said, $2,000. The Lord said, Give it to Me. The next day, the 21st day of the fast, we had our Miracle Service and our congregation always ends the fast with a seed faith offering. I put the $2000 in the offering. The Lord spoke to me and said Watch what Ill do! One month later God blessed me with

Pre-Fasting Diet
Fasting brings you closer to God. It is the Bible way to humble one self. In addition, however however, , there there are are physical benefits to fasting, such as weight loss, though fasting is not to be confused with dieting.

elow is a pre-fasting diet that will help you prepare your body for a long fast. It not only cleanses the body from toxins, but it also stimulates the metab olism of your body. You will probably lose seven to twelve pounds in one week, depending on your present body weight.

Cabbage Soup Recipe

Basic Fat-Burning Soup Six large green onions (scallions) 2 green peppers 1 or 2 large cans of tomatoes 1 bunch of celery 1 large head of cabbage 1 package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix Season soup with salt, pepper, and curry, parsley, if desired. Or you may season soup with six bouillon cubes. NOTE: Half of this recipe was made and used according to the following instructions by two people for four days. It was kept hot continually in a crock-pot. Cut vegetables in small to medium pieces and cover with water. Boil fast for ten minutes. Reduce to simmer and con tinue cooking until vegetables are tender. This can be eaten anytime you are hungry. Eat as much as you want, when ever you want at any time of the day. This soup will not add calories: the more you eat, the more you lose. If eaten alone for indefinite periods, you would suffer malnutrition. Fill a thermos in the morning if you will be away during the day.

Bananas are high in calories and so is milk, but on this particular day of your diet your body will need the potassium and the carbohy drates, proteins and calcium to lessen your craving for sweets. THE END OF THE SEV ENTH DAY, IF YOU HAVE NOT CHEATED ON THE DIET, YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU HAVE LOST TEN TO SEVEN TEEN POUNDS. IF YOU HAVE LOST MORE THAN FIFTEEN POUNDS, STAY OFF THE DIET FOR TWO DAYS BEFORE RE SUMING.

his seven day eat ing plan can be used as often as you like. As a mat ter of fact, if cor rectly followed, it will clean your system of impu rities and give you a feeling of well being as never before. After only days of this process, you will begin to feel lighter, at least ten and possi bly seventeen pounds, and have an abundance of energy. Continue this plan as long as you wish and feel the difference. This diet is a fast, fat-burning diet. The secret is that you will burn more calories than you take in. This diet does not lend itself to drinking any alcoholic beverages at any time be cause of the removal of fat buildups in your system. Go off the diet at least twenty-four hours before any intake of alcohol. Because everyones digestive sys tem is different, this diet will affect everyone differently. After day three, you will have more energy than when you began, if you do not cheat. After being on the diet for several days, you will find your bowel movement has changed eat a cup of bran or fiber. Although you can have black coffee with this diet, you may find you dont need the caffeine after the third day. Definite no-nos: no bread. No al coholic beverages. No carbonated beverages-not even diet drinks. Stick with water, unsweetened tea, black coffee, unsweetened fruit juices, cranberry juice and skim milk (on the day its allowed)

Fasting brings about a confidence that nothing is impossible with God.

Headaches, bad breath, run down feelings are a sign that the fast is working. Dur ing a time of fasting the body puri fies itself and feeds off of impurities and pollutants in ones body. After approximately three days the head aches will begin to cease and after approximately five days hunger will also stop. Fasting will not impair your health. On the contrary, fasting throughout history has been a prescribed method for healing. The animal kingdom ceases to eat when it becomes ill as God in stinctively ordained. Hippocrates was an outstanding physician in this time. He is called the father of all modern medicine. He set standards followed by doctors today called the Hippo cratic Oath. Hippocrates taught his students to rely on diet and exer cise instead of drugs and personally fasted often. He advised that people should only eat one meal a day.

Fasting increases a per sons faith. The same member that one speaks the word of faith with is the same mem ber that one eats with- the mouth (Romans 10:8-10). Faith must be re leased from the mouth. Fasting and faith are first cousins. They are re lated. The tongue speaks faith and eats food. Some unbelief cannot be broken without fasting. Each day you fast your faith is increased.

In preparing for your fast drink plenty of fluids. Bot tled mineral water should be taken in large quantities before and during the fast. This will help flush poisons and impurities out of your system. Approximately one gallon a day should be used in the cleansing process. Fasting is a method of con stant intercession before God. Many times when a

person fasts they do not feel like praying. Intercessory prayer is not only a spiritual but a physical pro cess. Many times during a fast one becomes weak and does not feel like praying. But the fasting process is a constant prayer unto God. Fasting strengthens the in ner will of man. James 1:7 8 says, a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Let not that man think that he will receive anything from the Lord. Just because one becomes hungry is not a reason to break a fast. The only reason a fast should be broken is if God has dealt with you that it is time to break the fast, or for medical reasons. You will not starve to death by fasting. During the fast one must focus on the Word of God. Most of the direction that

God speaks to His people comes through the revelation of His Word. When Jesus fasted He was tempted by the devil, but in every case he used the Word to overcome. With out exception God has spoken to me through the scriptures each time I have fasted. When you become hun gry, if you will read from the Word of God it will satisfy your physical hun ger.

down what God speaks. The victory often comes after the fast is over. When Jesus was fasting He was tempted by the devil. The power of the Holy Spirit came upon Christ af ter the fast. And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee and news of Him went out through all the surrounding regions (Luke 4:14) Wisdom should be used in breaking the fast. There have been reported cases where people have fasted for long periods of time and have broken their fast with meat and other foods hard to digest. This lack of wisdom has cost some people their lives. I suggest the use of meat and other hard to digest foods not be eaten the first few days after a fast, but eat foods very easy to di gest. The sooner the first meal passes through the body the more effect it has as it carries out poisons collected in the intestines and stomach. The best laxative foods for a fast are fresh, sweet fruits, such as grapes, cherries or raw vegetables.

During a fast your prayers need to be specific. I en courage you to write down your greatest needs and pray spe cifically over each need during this time of fasting. As God impresses you with direction and guidance, jot

21 Meals In 21 Days
That was the admonition of Pastor Bob to our congregation; the first January he was the pastor of Evangel Christian Life Center. (We later changed our name to Evangel World Prayer Center.) In years past, we had designated the week between Christmas and New Years as our time to fast and seek the Lord for the New Year. It was encouraged within the church, but it was not promoted as a function of the church. It was a new day, under Pastor Bobs leadership, and a new approach to fasting was emerging. It was the way to start the New Year. It felt like a first fruits kind of season to kick off a new year and a new beginning under Pastor Bob. In those days we had a prayer retreat called Prayer Mountain. So, our staff went there to spend time in prayer to get Gods direction for 1989. It was during first week Pastor Bob thought he should go ahead and fast all twenty-one meals in seven days. Most of us did not realize exactly what was happening, but we sensed that our time there at Prayer Mountain was something special. Little did we know it was the birthing of something that would take on significance for churches here in America and around the world. It, definitely, would become the thing for which Pastor Bob Rodgers and Evangel World Prayer Center would be known around the world. week and thus twenty-one days of fasting and prayer had begun. It was the next year that a public fast was called for our congregation. I had never fasted for any length of time. Fasting was not prevalent in the church I grew up in. It was taught very little and exercised even less. I do not say that to be critical. It was just different in those days. The fasting that was done was mostly a meal at a time, or a day, maybe three, etc. My father and a few others I knew had fasted for long periods of time, but that was out of their personal pursuit of God. When I was in college I fasted a little, very little. So, now we were to fast for twentyone days. How was I going to do that? I did not have a personal frame of reference to base it on. I was not sure if I could do it. You have fasted for one day, right? That was a question that came up from within me. The answer was yes and that became the basis for how I would get through twenty-one days of fasting. I decided to fast one day at a time. I made it through the first day and thought, Praise the Lord! So, I fasted the second day. I was so glad when I got to the end of that day and it was time to sleep. The easiest way to fast is to sleep. Obviously, you cant sleep all the time, but when you hit a tough spot it can help you get through.

The third day was the same, but then I got to day four and I felt better. I still was on my one day at a time plan, What happened was this. After the first seven days, but I realized it was something that was possible. The Pastor Bob felt lead of the Lord to continue another sev truth is, I had a few moments that were challenging to en days of a complete fast. As you may have guessed, maintain the fasting, but they were very few of those when that week was over he felt lead to fast the third moments throughout the entire fast.

Finally, the twenty-one days had passed and I was amazed that I had fasted the whole time. There was such an in credible level of expectancy in my heart that God would do miracles. I was not alone. Many others had fasted the whole time. When we had our Miracle service to conclude the fast, it was electrifying in the church. Every year it con tinues to be one of the most exciting services we have. As a minister of the gospel, I have been changed through fasting. Fasting is one of the biblical disciplines. Now, we do not like hearing the word discipline, because it means we have to bring our flesh into submission. Like any disci pline, the process has to be worked out, but the end result brings joy.

It causes an increased growth of faith where you begin to believe God for impossible things.

My Personal Journey
The January night was biting cold and I was running late. I had just pulled into a school parking lot searching for the first available spot. I did not know this area or which building I was in pursuit. At the age of 24, Bob and I had only moved back to Louisville within the past few months to work with Evangel and his father. I was the editor of Evangel Publica tions and I was there to cover an event. Out I jumped with camera in tow. Now where was the gymnasium? Before I had a moment to think, a man grabbed my arm, shoved a sharp object into my back and forcefully pressed me in a direc tion away from my destination into a secluded place. Growling into my ear the words vibrated erratically that he had a knife and was going to kill me. He made his demands much to my resis tance. Then he began choking me. Sometimes those burdens I carried were with regard to challenges we were facing in new ministry endeavors, such as the securing of new prop erty to expand our main campus to a second area of the city. But many times the burdens I carried were personal for my husband and children. I have found that to whom much is given much is required.

The Price of a Giant

There is a price for taking on spiritual giants, such as the de monic forces that have controlled airwaves or the demons that have held areas captive through drug addiction and crime. The Year to Live, Multiply and Possess the Land

have a prophetic word for every person that will step out in faith and participate in the 21 Day Fast. This fast has been given by God to bless your family, children, break physical curse off your life and release the greatest financial miracles you have ever experi enced. Deuteronomy 8:1 declares, All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land. This represents where each person is financially. God mentions that we may live, and multiply, and pos sess the land. To live is survival mode. That is where a lot of people are. They are struggling to pay their mortgage, their utilities, to keep food on the table and clothe their families. But God wants you to have more. To multiply is when you begin to get ahead of your bills. You have some money in the bank. You are able to take a vacation and not be under so much financial pressure. However, there is another level God wants you to dwell in. He wants you to possess the land.

That is the point of getting out of debt where you lend and dont have to borrow. To possess the land is receiving the promises God has for you so you can support the spreading of the gospel around the world. It is the place where you give $100 a week, a $1,000 a week, where God blesses you to give a million dollars to Gods work in your lifetime. I want to share with you four laws to Posses the Land. As you will do these four steps, God will bring you into this place with him financially.

Joseph was sold as a slave by his brothers in Egypt. He didnt own the clothes on his back. Both Jacob and Joseph became very rich because of Gods blessings. They didnt have the wealth of their parents like their brothers, but they had the angel of blessing with them. During this fast release the angels of blessings to bless your home and finances.

There are demons of poverty and sickness. There are countries where there is such poverty that even the people well off are still poor compared with other nations. When those citizens move to other lands and countries they begin to be blessed. Why? Certain coun tries are under the curse of poverty. If there is a devil of poverty, there are angels of blessings. Jacob met that angel in Genesis 31:11. The angel gave him a plan to prosper.

Deuteronomy 8:2 says they were led in the wilderness for forty years to to humble... and prove thee. If you are full of pride God can never bless you. Some people think they are better than others because of education, money, where they live and how they dress. God raises up the poor from the dust and the beggar from the dung hill to sit with the princes of the earth.

Never rob God with your money. You must be on the giving end to be blessed of God. For God to bless a person, first He must prove and test them. How does God prove a person? Its always through money. Many times a person is called into the ministry, but they cannot go through the door of trusting God for finances. Because of this there are thou sands of people who never answer the call. The chairman of the board of a large bank took an employee out to lunch to promote him to the presi dent of the bank. As they went through a cafeteria line the em ployee hid a pad of butter under his napkin so he wouldnt be charged a nickel. The chairman saw this. He reasoned if he will steal five cents from this restaurant, he will steal from the bank. He never brought up the promotion.

Deuteronomy 8:3 states, He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna... So we would know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God. To humble ones self is always a reference to fasting in the Old Testament. Again and again the Scriptures say, He humbled him self through prayer and fasting. This 21 Day Fast is a step of faith on your behalf to step back from your own desires and wants and put God in the rightful place he demands to bring His blessings in your life. Seek first the Kingdom of God...

There will be blessings that come your way in March and June be cause you fasted in January. You will be blessed this summer and fall for fasting at the beginning of the year. Many of you sacrificed as a young person to go to college. You drove an old car, went without some luxuries others enjoyed to get your education. Now ten years, twenty years later or longer you are enjoying the fruits of your educa tion. The same is true through fasting. Even years later, you will receive Gods blessings because you fasted. Some miracles will never come your way if you dont fast. After the 21 Days of Fasting take a day a week and have a particular day as your family fast day. Fast until your evening meal. Get your entire family to fast on that day. Your children may be scattered all over the world. One may be in California, Florida or Afghanistan, but on that fast day your fam ily comes together. There will be a corporate blessing released in your home this year. Your children

are blessed, you are blessed, and grandchildren not even born will be blessed. You will discover, as I have, fast ing Always Breaks Poverty. Lack doesnt come from God, it comes from the devil. What kind of father would not provide for his children? He is worse than an infidel. What kind of God wont provide for His children? If ye then, be ing evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:11. Dewayne and his family came to church one midweek service. I had never met him before. He had three small children. They had been sleeping in their car for two nights. They had been evicted and Dewayne had lost his job. I helped him get a room and prayed with them. We were beginning the 21 Day Fast and I encouraged Dewayne to join in. I talked with him about his job skills. He had worked a lot of jobs, but as a teenager his grandfather had taught him to detail cars. Thats what you need to do. Go and detail cars. There is money in that kind of work. Dewayne fasted those 21 days. During this time he got several contracts with car lots to keep their cars washed. He got a contract with the city bus company to wash the shelters for the bus stops. That year Dewayne made over $250,000. We dont live on our talents and personal skills alone, but by the miracles of Gods blessings.

He agreed if I would join the Golden Eagle Club. Yes, I will join. By the way what is the Golden Eagle Club? His reply was, Its people who give $25,000 to ORU. I cant do that. Why? Because I dont have $25,000. At the end of the fast, bring an of fering to God. Whatever amount your pastor suggests, believe God to do it. Its up to God to supply the money, you are just a channel. It shows you are willing. If a person will give and fast, its impossible to remain without.

My
earliest memories of traveling to Israel were of a bratty little kid sitting in the back of the bus with headphones on as big as my head blaring the loudest music I could possibly bare. I was a child, and even through my understanding of the things of the Lord were minimal, I knew that I would someday, somehow be involved with a land and a people that in Zechariah 2:8 declares the apple of His eye. Im older now, and even though I may not posses the wisdom that only comes from a seasoned saint, I have seen and experienced first hand the power of God that only comes through prayer and fasting.

One of my favorite passages is found in 1 Chronicles 4. In verse 10 it says, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request. Jabez knew what he was talking about. This small prayer is so simple, so approach-

able, yet so profound. God is only waiting for us to declare favor over our life. Not just favor but uncommon favor. It is a right that, as children of God, we are to declare. And not just favor but expansion. When Im stretched to my max, I get uncomfort able. When I get pushed to my limit and am juggling a million different things, I may get frustrated along the way, but my skills are improved. My character is put to the test. My vision is broadened. And as long as Im in the center of the will of the Lord, His hand is over me keeping me from all

danger and harm. I was six years old when TV 21 went on the air. Back in those days, I remember when my father had fasted and prayed for doors to be open outside the US and supernaturally he and his team were invited to travel to Nicaragua to help plant a station.

Back then, this was a perfect example of expand ing borders, of increasing vision. Now the door is opened for the Holy Land. Israel, Jordan, Syria- the Middle East is ready for a move of the Holy Spirit. But its not enough to buy a station, put it on the air and hope for the best. Its only successful through a prayer covering. Through an army of believers de claring peace and protection over the land. Peace and protection upon the staff and the land in which it is held. Declaring peace upon the airwaves in which it travels. It is an exciting journey ahead. An incredible plan is unfolding. Now the position is open. The position for an army of prayer warriors must be filled. People that would agree to stand together and pray for fa vor upon the people of the land. Pray for protection

Miraculously, through a series of events, he met with President Daniel Ortega, and he granted him permission to take medical supplies into the surrounding villages. The stories of Gods blessing and favor were so generous during those times. It was a step of faith, taking Gods Word for what it truly is, an explosive device that clears out every enemy plan and clears the way for Gods perfect will. It was soon after that trip, the little station in Louisville, KY started to grow. Opportunity opened from everywhere, and now it is thriving with expansions in Nashville, Indianapolis, Baton Rouge and now the Holy Land.

As these prayers are prayed, as these matters are declared, something extraordinary takes place. Doors of opportunity start to open. Creative ideas and plans of expansion begin to be conceived. As you pray for something bigger than you are, God starts to bless you bigger than you could ever be lieve plausible.

II Chronicles 7:14 My prayer for you during these times of prayer and fasting it that you grasp hold of the power that prayer and fasting has not only upon your life, but also upon the lives of others. I have included several points of prayer to pray over dur ing these times of fasting. It is a divine right for you to prosper and be of good health and to declare healing in your land.

1. Ask God to enlarge your abilities to make money and prosper.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. I Chronicles 4: I0

2. Let the Angel of Blessing show his power in your life today.
And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I. Genesis 31 : 11

3. Release the resurrection power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring provision into your home.
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

4. Send the Angel of God to recover all stolen wealth in Jesus name.
Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all substance of his house. Proverbs 6:30-31

5. Ask the Holy Ghost to order your steps into divine prosperity.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8: 14
