Question 1: The Kings Elephant Problem.

Solution
Full the pool with water. Measure the volume of the water. Put the elephant in the pool. Then, measure the volume of water that is remaining in the pool.(1 litre is equal to 1 kilogram).

Question 2 : Abu Nawas Problem.

In one of the stories in One Thousand and One Night, Abu Nawas would only allow any traveller to fetch water from the only well in the desert after solving the following problem: The travellers were given a 3-litre container and a 5litre container. They have to measure exactly four and seven litres of water using the above containers. You are required to help the travellers solve the problem.

Solution
First, measure the water to be 4 litre. Fill the 5litre container with water. Pour the water in 3 litre container. The two litre remain in 5 litre container. Empty the 3 litre container. Pour the 2 litre water into the 3 litre container. Refill the water in 5 litre container. Pour the water from 5 litre container into 3 litrecontainer that contains 2 litre water. The remaining water in the 5 litre container is exactly 4litre.
