Players Base Price

Each player will have a base price attached to him For the base price consideration BWF Rankings will be taken into consideration Doubles players will be considered as an individual, not as a team Base price will be the starting point for the player at the players auction INTERNATIONAL Men Singles 1-5 ranked players 6-13 ranked players 14-20 ranked players 20-30 ranked players Women Singles 1-4 5-10 11-15 15-20

Base price for Indian players

The following five Indian players will have icon status. Each one of them starts at a base price equivalent to US$ 50,000 SAINA NEHWAL P KASHYAP JWALA GUTTA ASHWINI PONNAPPA PV SINDHU
** If any of these is not contracted as an icon player, the player will be part of the PLAYER ACQUISITON BID PROCESS and get a base price as per his/her BWF rankings

+ Indian singles players in top 40 BWF rankings get a base price equivalent to US$ 20,000 + Indian doubles players in top 25 BWF rankings will get base price equivalent to US$ 20,000 + Indian senior internationals (World Championship, Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, Sudirman Cup, CWG, Asian Games) get equivalent to US$ 15,000 + Indian singles players with top 10 national rankings get equivalent to US$ 10,000 + Indian doubles players with top 10 national rankings get equivalent to US$ 7,500 + Indian singles players with 11-25 national rankings get equivalent to US$ 5,000 + Indian doubles players with 11-25 national rankings get equivalent to US$ 3,000 + Other prominent Indian players will have a base price equivalent to US$ 2,000

Players Auction

Each player at their base price will be part of the auction Club / franchise owners will bid for the players at the live televised auction For example - player with a base price of 50K goes for the value of 100K in the auction, 100% of that value goes to the player So players are guaranteed of their base price in the auction. AUCTION of the players will be held on June second week, 2013 After auction player will sign a contract with their CLUB OWNER IBL will be the guarantor of the contract between the player and the club

Players Payment

Player will be paid 25% of the signing amount at the time of the contract signing 25% immediately when he lands to play the league 25% before the last league match 25% - 15 days after the league All other expenses of the players - boarding, lodging, hospitality, traveling will be borne by the CLUB OWNER All expenses of the players are paid for Players will be provided 5 star hospitality in INDIA

Players have to sign a consent form to be part of the auction In the consent form their agreed base price will be included This will mean that player has agreed to be part of the auction at the agreed base price Last date of signing the consent form will be May 31, 2013 Player AUCTION will take place on June second week, 2013
