GUIDELINE
The annual Call for Artists series conducted by the Korean Cultural Service of New York, is a great opportunity for artists to exhibit their works at Gallery Korea. The selected artists' works will be featured in one of the group exhibition-series 2014.
Deadline : October 25, 2013 All materials should arrive or be postmarked by October 25 Material for individual application 1. Application Form 2. Current Resume 3. 10 Images
- in standard JPEG format with the tiltes on CD compatible for Window System - of the works available for the shows and whose height would not exceed 6 1/2 feet in order to accommodate the gallery Medium not restricted
For video works, submit DVD, with each work not exceeding 10 minutes and compatible for Window System 4. List of the image including artists's name, title, date, medium and dimensions 5. Attn : Call for Artists 2014 Korean Cultural Service NY 460 Park Avene, 6th Floor New York, NY 10022 Prospective applicants should be advised that once the materials are submitted, they will belong to the Korean Cultural Service NY. The submitted materials will be reviewed by jurors in November, 2013. Notication of accepted works will be announced by December, 2013. Artists will be informed by e-mail or phone call. Gallery Korea will only provide press release, sending out invitations (printed postcards and e-mails), preparation for opening reception, and publishing an annual catalogue. Gallery Korea DOES NOT support any other incurring costs. The selected artists will responsible for installing their own artworks prior to the exhibition as well as de-installing, and will need to take care of arranging the cost for shipping and handling.
