Annual service program for your Brookfield Viscometer which includes replacement of parts as necessary and cleaning of the sensing system to guarantee long life and good performance. TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEMS

Brookfield TC series digital baths/circulators and coolers with range capability -20C to 200C. Brookfield Thermosel System for measurement of small samples to 300C.

VIS CAL KIT

This must-have kit provides all the necessary items to verify calibration including a Brookfield 600ml beaker, pint of silicone viscosity standard, dispensing bottle for cleanup and Trapper cleaning agent (available only in the USA).

SMALL SAMPLE ADAPTER DISPOSABLE CHAMBERS

Disposable sample chambers are ideal for hard-to-clean materials because there is no cleaning. You take the measurement, lift out the chamber and toss it away. A special kit is available to retro-fit your existing Small Sample Adapter.

PRACTICAL COURSE ON VISCOSITY MEASUREMENTS

A single day course which covers such topics as the principle of viscometer operation, calibration, rheology, methodology and data interpretation. Classes available at major metropolitan areas throughout the United States and at our plant. Customer on-site classes may also be arranged.

INSTRUCTIONS This Factor Finder applies to Brookfield Dial Reading Viscometers. Torque ranges include LV, RV, HA and HB with standard spindles. Insert slide in sleeve so appropriate torque/ spindle selection is visible in window. To convert Viscometer dial readings to centipoise (mPas), adjust slide until Viscometer torque range and spindle number being used appear in window. Multiply reading noted on Viscometer dial (0-100 scale) by factor shown beside speed at which measurement is being made. Turn slide over for HA/ HB factors. Dial Reading x Factor = Viscosity in Centipoise (mPas) Example: LVT with #61 spindle at 6 rpm Dial Reading: 75 Factor: 10 75 x 10 = 750 centipoise (mPas) Full scale viscosity range for any speed and spindle combination is the maximum viscosity that can be measured. Calculate as shown.
