    SYRACUSE, N.Y. The City of Syracuse Department of Fire has been informed by law enforcement of the arrest of retired firefighter Mark Raite. The investigation and subsequent arrest centers on internet child pornography. The Syracuse Fire Department has cooperated fully with the Syracuse Police Department through the initial phase of this investigation. The Department will not have further comment on the matter as it is an ongoing law enforcement investigation. ###
