ACTIVITY BFP Anniversary Month-Long Activities

SUMMARY REPORT

I. BACKGROUND

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) has strengthened its fire safety campaign in its
32nd monthlong anniversary celebration this month of August with the theme
“Modernong Bumbero: Kaakibat tungo sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan”.

In commemoration for this and to address the safety awareness, Sta. Monica Fire
Station conducted activities which include inspection of establishments, Drills and
Simulations, Firetruck Visibility and Testing of Hydrants.

II. OBJECTIVES

 To guide the Brgy. Officials and give them strategies and ways in suppressing
fire.
 To strengthen its fire safety campaign by conducting inspection of
establishment for the safety of the community from fire hazard.
 To ensure the capability and preparedness on the occurrence of disaster such
as El Nino.

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY

1. Sta. Monica FS personnel conducted inspections of establishment within the


area of responsibilities on the date specified.
2. Firetruck Visibility/ Testing of Hydrants within the area.
3. Conducted Drills and Simulations of the two (2) targeted barangay using fire
extinguisher as extinguishing agent.
IV. OUTPUTS OF THE ACTIVITY

BFP Caraga Sta. Monica Fire Station was able to conduct the
following;

1. Firetruck visibility and Testing of Hydrants within AOR.


2. Successfully conducted Drills and Simulations of Barangay T. Arlan and
Barangay Mabuhay where the brgy. officials served as the participants.
3. Conducted inspection of establishments within AOR.

V. PROBLEMS AND CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED (what went wrong):

1. There was a coordination first from the brgy. captain before conducting the
activities.
2. Firetruck and personnel were deployed in the location for monitoring.
3. Inspection Order and Checklist presented during inspection.

BFP Caraga Santa Monica Fire Station personnel under the supervision of SF01 Rogelio R
Galanida Jr, Officer-In-Charge conducted fire safety inspection of business establishment within
AOR.

24 August 2023
Bfp Caraga SantaMonica FireStation personnel headed by SF01 Rogelio R Galanida Jr, Officer-In-
Charge,conducted fire safety inspection of business establishment within AOR.
10 August 2023| OLP -DRILLS AND SIMULATION

Bfp Caraga SantaMonica FireStation duty personnel led by F02 Rold Winstan D Conde, Office
Caretaker, conduct Drills and Simulation activity of the two(2) targeted brgy; Brgy. T. Arlan and
Brgy. Mabuhay.
The participants of the said barangay engage fire suppression using fire extinguisher.
This activity test the readiness of the residents in case of fire.
02 August 2023 || EL NIÑO PREPAREDNESS
Sta. Monica Fire Station personnel led by SFO1 Rogelio R Galanida Jr, Officer-In-Charge,
conducted Fire Truck visibility and Fire Hydrant Testing within the area of responsibilities in relation
of El Niño Preparedness.
