Present Continuous
Use: We use the present con-nuous for things that are happening now, at the moment. Theyre having a party in Flat 4. We also use the present con-nous for current longer periods of -me, e.g. today, this week, this month, this year, although they might be temporary. What are you doing today? Im having lunch with Jan.

Form: To form the present con-nuous we use the verb to be in the correct form + the main verb in the ing form. TO BE + -ING Whats happening? Theyre having a party in Flat 4.

We use the present simple to say what we usually do. Its normally used with expressions of frequency. I always get up at 7 am. We also use the present simple to speak about things that are always or normally true. They sky is blue
