Workshops For Kids

On May 28th I held the first of
3 workshops for kids. Those
who attended began to create
their own desk set.
Before we started our project
we took a few minute to learn
how to cut paper without hav-
ing a lot of waste. Even the
mom’s who were watching got
involved to learn how to get
the most of their paper. We
then took those new paper
cutting skills and created a
desk cube that opens for
storage. When we are done
the kids will have created a
Dry Erase Board, Post-it-
note holder and desk caddy.
On August 20th & 27th I will
offer another kids workshop.
In this workshop we will
decorate a box to store their
treasures from the summer,
including a 3 ring binder
where they can put photo’s
or postcards. Keep an eye
out for more information.
