Guidelines for resume building Notes to filling resume: 1) The area above educational qualifications is meant for your address, phone number, email and name. 2) Under Awards & Achievements, mention only significant ones. What constitutes significant is your decision. 3) Positions of responsibility refer to organizing experiences and other instances where leadership trait was shown. Please fill up emphasizing on your role and your impact. 4) Keep activities and interests section brief. 5) Be very sure that additional information provided is critical. If there is nothing to mention, please delete the row. 6) In case you do not have any information to provide under a particular heading, feel free to leave that section blank. General Guidelines: All information must be authentic. Your resume must not exceed one page. Rename the file as your name. E.g. SURAJ ARORA_BBS3FA.doc The given format is to be adhered to strictly including the font size and spacing. In the marks column, absolute scores out of 500 in Xth and XIIth and out of 1800 in college must be mentioned alongside with your percentage (rounded to 2 decimal places). For certain exams like CA, CS you may mention your score till now, and may update your score during the later resume authentication process. In case there are certain accolades for which you haven't received the proof, you cannot mention them in your resume until you receive the same.

Resume Authentication process: There shall be class wise schedule for resume authentication which shall be notified to all students soon. Resumes of students will only be authenticated on the days designated to their class. On the day of the resume authentication process, you must carry proof of information present in your resume in the form of photos, badges, certificates, trophies or medals. Once a resume has been authenticated by CDC, ten copies of the final approved resume must be submitted with CDC during the resume authentication week. In case there are any discrepancies at a later stage, the student shall be held responsible and the offer will be withdrawn.
