Description

This article examines the timing for God's feast called Shavuot in Hebrew or Pentecost in Greek. This festival is to be celebrated 50 days after the offering of the omer ("wave sheaf") during the Feast of Passover. Due to differences in the start of this count, this festival is variously celebrated by different groups on a Sunday, Monday, or on the fixed date of Sivan 6. This article reviews the historical information showing when this feast was kept in the days of Yeshua.
