Dear Sir or Madam:

I am responding to your online job posting, and would like to submit my resume for your review. The
extensive and varied skill set I have developed through my career as well as my personal work traits are a
close match to the job requirements and would be an ideal fit in a prescription center workplace.

Currently I work in a publishing company specializing in Leveled Reading and Supplemental Textbooks for
education grades K-8. I work with the Inventory Manager and Vice President of Purchasing. I am responsible for
collating book files, checking their copyright and artwork accuracy as well as quotation requests and pricing. I
am actively involved from start to finish.
Besides my full time work, I hold part time employment as a licensed pharmacy technician. I keep my
customer service skills sharp, while increasing my knowledge of computer systems, their capabilities and
limitations. Through this part-time retail pharmacy work, I’ve developed a good knowledge of efficient pharmacy
practices , and have become adept at working within a team to make the workflow as seamless and efficient as
possible. Previously I've worked with my high school alma mater’s softball team as an assistant coach, traveling
with the junior varsity squad. Through these various occupations I have developed skills that improve my overall
ability in business.

I enjoy project traffic; my strength is the organizational and technical side of production, indicated by the
broad range of my background. I am excited to extend my knowledge in business and pharmacy work especially
by building on my previous experience, yet I’m also looking forward to a change in focus. Working for the UMass
Prescription Center would be both challenging and rewarding.

I am confident that my skills and balance of experience will be useful to you and I look forward to an opportunity
to speak with you.

Sincerely,

Kristine Stapelfeld
