Each week, The Courant publishes the names of people arrested by area police departments. Those arrested have been accused of crimes; their guilt or innocence will be decided by the justice system. AVON ARRESTS Oct. 28 Todd I. Swanson, 37, of 2 Dorset Road, West Hartford: charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding. Oct. 27 Christopher J. Lively, 26, 25 Colony Road, Canton: charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. FARMINGTON ARRESTS Oct. 20 Desmond L. Brown, 16, of 140 Childs St., New Britain; charged with third-degree assault and fifth-degree larceny. Oct. 22 Daniel C. Alt, 31, of 9 Dorian Terrace, Waterbury; charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. Oct. 23 Devin G. Truax, 16, of 176 Main St., Unionville; charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny. Oct. 25 David C. Colon, 35, of 35 Irving St., Hartford; charged with driving while intoxicated, drinking while driving and failure to drive right. Dale L. Derosier, 41, of 33 Irving St., Bristol; charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and operating a motor

vehicle while under suspension. Robert Kwozala, 30, of 1175 Farmington Ave., Farmington; charged with driving while intoxicated. Travis J. Paradis, 35, of 132 Sherman Road, Enfield; charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy. Dale L. Derosier, 41, of 33 Irving St., Bristol; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Oct. 27 Norman B. Gamber, 26, of 102 First St., New Britain; charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. Oct. 28 Gregory A. Hanley, 24, of 14 D Wiggins Farm Drive, Simsbury; charged with driving while intoxicated, operating without a license and failure to drive right. Thomas Hayes, 29, of 51 Bridge St., Collinsville; charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive right. Mark D. Mihalyo, 36, of 68 Cooke St., Plainville; charged with driving while intoxicated, operating with a suspended license and failure to drive right. Oct. 29 Christian D. Meyer, 28, of 1281 Saybrook Road, Haddam; charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive right. Oct. 30 Rhona L. Resigna, 46, of 17 Golden Court, Cromwell; charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny. WEST HARTFORD ARRESTS Oct. 24 Graham Mariano, 18, of 6 Briarwood Road, West Hartford; charged with having weapons in a vehicle, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Mariano, a student at Conard High School, had a pellet gun in his car, which was parked at the school.

Thomas Johnson, 32, of 15 Milford St., Hartford; arrested on a warrant charging him with threatening and disorderly conduct. Walter Dule Jr., 40, of 81 West Road, South Windsor; charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of a registration plate, misuse of a registration plate and operating with a suspended license. Police said he had four bags of heroin and two straws when he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Scott Kamolsiri, 16, of 10 Grenhart St., West Hartford; charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Police said Kamolsiri, a student at Hall High School, fought with another student. Leighton James, 45, of 37 Burton St., Hartford; arrested on a warrant charging him with third-degree forgery and criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny. Oct. 25 Daniel Hall, 19, of 15 Old King's Highway, Greenwich; charged with driving while intoxicated. Jimmy Collazo, 22, of 214 S. Marshall St., Hartford; charged with fifth-degree larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with police and seconddegree forgery. Police said he had a hypodermic needle and an empty heroin bag when he was arrested for shoplifting $379 worth of baby formula at Shaw's supermarket on Kane Street. Police said he also falsely identified himself after his arrest. Andres Santiago, 40, of 341 New Park Ave., Hartford; charged with driving while intoxicated. Herman Davies Jr., 49, of 10 Steven St., West Hartford; charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. James Wilson, 36, of 37 Huntington St., Hartford; charged with third-degree larceny. Police said he was stopped while driving a stolen Mitsubishi Mirage worth about $3,000. Daniel Anderson, 22, of 25 Renee St., Bristol; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he had marijuana pipes in his car when he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Oct. 26 Heather Place, 18, of 745 Farmington Ave., West Hartford; charged with seconddegree forgery, criminal impersonation, filling out a false age statement form and

possession of liquor by a minor. Police said she used a false identification card to buy alcohol at Fairlawn package store on Park Road. Rattanak Ouk, 18, of 22 Rumford St., West Hartford; charged with second-degree forgery. Police said he had a forged Maryland driver's license.
