Peter Fay is a passionate collector of Australian art.
He taught English for many years and has curated
several significant exhibitions for Monash University,
Campbelltown Art Centre and Sydney University. Fay is
currently working on an exhibition that will be a visual
response to Patrick White’s The Tree of Man. He has also
written on the work of Charles Callins and has published
many catalogue essays.
David Marr writes about politics, law and the arts for the
Sydney Morning Herald. Over the years he has presented
Radio National’s Arts Today and ABC TV’s Media Watch. His
In 2008, Dr Gene Sherman became Executive Director
of Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation after 21 years
as Director of Sherman Galleries. She has a specialised
knowledge of art, literary theory and French and English
literature. Sherman is currently on the Board of the
National Portrait Gallery, the Commissioner’s Council for
the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, the Art &
Australia Advisory Board and the Australia-Israel Cultural
Exchange.
