Lesson Beginning Time allocation (5 minutes) Motivating Set Teacher show a picture of chlorophylls liquid to the students. Then, teacher ask the students several questions. Teachers questions: - Do you know this nutritional drinks? - Did you ever drink this liquid chlorophyll? - Why it is called nutritional drink? Students answer the teachers question . Development Phase Time allocation (20 minutes) Teacher ask several questions to the students. Teachers questions: - If sunlight cannot reach the earth, how are plants and animals affected? - If sunlight cannot reach the earth, how are we affected? Students answer the question. Teacher show the structure of chloroplast and discuss together the characteristic of the chloroplast with the student. Teacher explain the stages of photosynthesis to the students. Then ,teacher show how to construct the schematic diagram of photosynthesis which involved light reaction and dark reaction. Teacher and students discuss together the flows stages of phototsynthesis.

(20 minutes)

Teacher and students discuss together the factors affecting the rate of photosynthesis. Then,teacher show the animation of light and dark reaction. Next, teacher distributes a puzzle worksheet to the students. The question in the puzzle will actually evaluate their understanding of the topic. The student those can finish early and correctly will be rewarded. Teacher and students discuss the worksheets answer.
