End Note: Flagey area has more to offer than what's on this guide: FOOD: Many restaurants and snacks from fries, to take away couscous, pizzas to burgers and thai food not to mention japanese from ramen to fusion food and Portuguese specialties CULTURE: Big cultural center called Flagey with cinema every day and many events: conferences, concerts, film festivals. Not to mention Theater Marni and La Clarencire another small theater (very close to La Soupape). Maison de Quartier Malibran has some things going on, too. Not too far, there's the Museum of Ixelles and Museum for Children, and also the Contemporary Art Center, La Loge and several art galleries. OUTDOOR: Ponds of Ixelles are a must see and architecture surrounding is amazing. You can easily walk from Flagey to Soignies Forest, via green itinerary (ponds, then abbaye de la Cambre, then Bois de la Cambre and Forest!) And check the Petite Rue Malibran... BUSINESS & SHOPPING: FM Brussels (the best radio in town) and Brussels Deze Week Newspaper have their office here! There's two nice bookshops (Ptyx and Brsel) and there's a LOT of second hand shops and nice boutiques like Reservoir Shop! Not to mention two design venues (Le Vistemboir & Le Petit Coin). And Architects, artists & designers probably know already LaserCut Lab. SOCIAL: Portuguese area, North African community, students, artists, expats, families, singles... Who are you looking for?
