Oscars grand conspiracy

Prosecutor Gerrie Nel this week focused on this photograph to shoot down the big conspiracy against Oscar Pistorius. The photograph shows Pistorius bedroom as the police claim to have found it. Charl du Plessis looks at all the items police would have had to move to make Pistorius version true
Pistorius testies that he closed the curtains, but later opened them slightly to call for help after realising he shot Reeva Steenkamp. In the photo, the curtains are wide open The fan could not have been placed here because it stands in the way of Pistorius shouting for help from the balcony. The leg of the fan is also on the rail of the sliding door, which would have prevented Pistorius from bringing it in and closing the door, as he testied he did

Nel also argues that a policeman would have had to have switched the light on

Pistorius said he placed the large fan here

These are Steenkamps jeans, which Oscar said he picked up to cover an LED light on his amplier shortly before hearing a noise in the bathroom. Nel argues the jeans are on top of the duvet. This means the duvet had to have been there rst

The duvet could not have been lying here. Pistorius says it was on the bed when he went to investigate the noise in the bathroom, which turned out to be Steenkamp. He says it was also not here when he went to scream for help from the balcony after shooting Steenkamp
