involves a deep desire to change the world, to transmit values, to leave this earth somehow better than we found it. We love this magnificent planet on which God has put us, and we love the human family which dwells here, with all its tragedies and struggles. Pope Francis, Joy of the Gospel, (183).

meeting usually is after Easter but because Easter is late this year we had our meeting last week. The meeting was another great way to network with other Ministry Leaders and speed date with Pope Francis! We discussed 5 different questions that led us to think about our ministry through the lens of Pope Francis and Joy of the Gospel. Thank you to all those that attended it was a fruitful evening! Each Ministry Leader was presented with their own personal copy of the Apostolic Exhortation. If you have not received your copy, let me know and I will get a copy to you!
An authentic faith which is never comfortable or completely personal always

Whats New??
We have received permission from Bishop Olmsted to move ahead with our feasibility study! A feasibility study is done to see if the community has the capacity and interest to enter into an expansion project. Within the next few months we will be interviewing and selecting a company to run the study. Moving right along! More details to follow! We now have a New Member Process designed to increase personal interaction. You may have already seen the interest card in the Narthex - this card begins the registration process. Once a card is filled out and dropped off to the Parish Office, they will receive a welcome call that week and a welcome packet to follow shortly after that! Welcome packets and registration forms are still available in the Parish Office. Envelopes are now available in the Narthex if you left yours at home or you are a new member. These look similar to the ones mailed to each household with space to share your prayer intentions and your service along with your financial gift.

Prayer in Motion developed by Dr. Borik and led by Jennifer Beichner and Kelli Hartley, has received imprimatur from Bishop Olmsted! Also, it looks like Prayer in Motion may be presented to ten of the Catholic Schools in the valley once a month next year!!! Congratulations Jen and Kelli! Tricia Hoyt and Carol LoPorto have embarked on a new Teen Skills Workshop for our teens in Childcare ministry here at St. Patrick. We have developed a series of modules to increase their knowledge of child development, leadership, goal setting, service and sacrifice, character building, risk taking and many other related topics. St. Patrick's dedication is to the continued development of our teen leaders as we provide the best possible tools not only when ministering but to take with them as their future unfolds.

In the month of March we received 3,905 giving envelopes and out of those envelopes we received 1,678 prayer requests. These prayer requests are prayed over by staff members every Wednesday when we gather together for Staff Prayer. The staff wants you to know that we are praying you through.
