Jerri Lane Named as Executive Director of
Bainbridge Island Downtown Association
(Bainbridge Island, Washington) - The Bainbridge Island Downtown Association (BIDA) announced
today that Jerri Lane has joined the team as Executive Director. She replaces Andie Mackin, who recently
joined the Downtown Seattle Association.
Jerri most recently served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Visit Seattle. I could not be more
excited to live and work on this beautiful island. I look forward to working with all the stakeholders to
further the mission of the organization, so ably served by Andie.
BIDA Board of Directors President, Tim OBrien commented, I am very pleased to welcome Jerri to the
Bainbridge Island Downtown Association team. Her extensive background in destination and hospitality
marketing made her an ideal candidate for the position.
Jerri has been an island resident for two years, and previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing
at both the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers and The Westin Seattle.
Since 1998, Bainbridge Island Downtown Association (BIDA) has been recognized as an accredited
Main Street Program under the National Trust Main Street Center and the Washington State Main
Street Program.
BIDA is committed to building and sustaining a vibrant downtown using the Main Street Approach.
Leveraging the traditional assets of a downtown, the organization provides activities and advocacy that
create a catalyst for locally owned independent small businesses, and foster economic revitalization and
community pride.
