Thanks to everyone for all your acts of Christian love and kindness
during our loss Dot Connell & family.

Your kindness and thoughtful expressions of sympathy is deeply
appreciated and gratefully acknowledged by the Bob Barnard family.
Two ways you can all help with Vacation Bible School
will take place this Sunday. First, everyone is invited to
prayer walk the church following the 11:00 AM worship
service. Come and join us as we pray for the students,
teachers, workers, leaders and all who have a part in VBS.
Pray for God to speak to the hearts ready for the Gospel. Then
join us for our Evening Worship Service at 8:00 PM. The
evening worship will be the VBS Rally and it will be a great
time to support and encourage the children attending. I love
VBS and can't wait for it to begin.
Our youth will be returning from Merge Mission Camp
this weekend. I am eagerly awaiting to hear their report and
catch some of the enthusiasm they will have upon returning.
Pray for their safety as they travel home. Pray what took place
this week will continue in the weeks and months ahead.
Jeff and Michele Baxley and family will be with us
this week. Jeff plans to be in the office full time beginning the
first of July. Thank you Jeff and Michele for attending Merge
Camp with our youth. We look forward to your ministry here.

SAINTS ALIVE-MAKING A DIFFERENCE
On Monday, June 22, we meet at Willow Ridge Assisted Liv-
ing Facility to begin singing at 9:30 AM. I have all the music
to sing. From Willow Ridge, we will travel to Memorial
Manor for 2 concerts. Remember to wear your outfits. Lunch
will be Dutch treat at a location to be announced.
We are the featured worship leaders for the Fifth Sunday Sing
which will be held at Eldorendo Baptist Church on Sunday,
June 29. The program will begin at 6:00 PM. This is the eve-
ning worship service for First Baptist that night. If the church
bus is available, we plan to use it to travel to Eldorendo Bap-
tist Church at 4:45 PM.

CHURCH MUSICIANS NEEDED
Please take a moment to complete and return the Music Minis-
try Service Survey which will be sent to known musicians
here at FBC. Return them to me or to the box located by the
Choir room door. Your faithful participation is needed for our
body to perform at its best!

MIGRANT MINISTRY A SUCCESS
In addition to hosting a meal for all the volunteers, FIRST
BAPTIST CHURCH has provided clothing. Thanks to the
BARACA Sunday School Class for their cash contribution to
this ministry. Workers, clothing, and cash is needed in order to
help all who need it. A big hearty thanks to Ron Betts and
other fellow GIDEONS who stepped forward each session to
share Bibles with our migrant friends.

CHANCEL CHOIR
We will rehearse on the evening of June 25. Bible School will
conclude and we will practice for our Sunday responsibility.

other workers (not kitchen staff): 5 pm
