37 states have already created an Address
Confidentiality Program.
When introduced in the 128th General Assembly, the bill
passed the Ohio House unanimously.
Participants will receive their mail at
the Secretary of States office,
which will forward it to participants
at their preferred address.

The ACP allows victims to continue
to engage in the full rights and
responsibilities of citizenship,
including voting while shielding
their location information from
their abuser.
The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence notes
that more than 1 million women and 370,000 men are
stalked each year in the U.S.
In other states, the ACP has been successful in
shielding victims address and contact information.
