SWMS 499, Food Culture and Food Politics in the Land of Plenty
Explore the dynamic relationships between food, politics, and gender in Los Angeles and the U.S. Pacific
Northwest during a Maymester in Spring 2015. Offered through the Gender Studies Program, students taking
SWMS 499 will closely examine interactions with food while in the field: in farms, restaurants, and in eateries
long-established, as well as transient and
