Those that were there: Bob Blundy, Randy Clark, David and Jo Davis, Steve and Margaret
DeGroat, Fred DeShong, Mike Eckhart, Eric and Bonnie Gibeaut and Kristen and Gavin, Forest
and Cheryl Haynes, Dave and Millie Headrick, Charley and Edith Hylton, Jeff and Pamela Jones,

Ratcliffe and Madell Dobrushin, Lewis and Lois Rodgers, Tony and Pat Stakis, Sonya Stewart,

wrong location – very few British cars, but more cars and folks arrived close to 9AM.
Fred used Sophie’s fox to call the meeting to order. It’s our version of Puxatawney Phil. The fox
declares Spring will arrive any day.

calendar now!
It’s time to get serious about planning and volunteering. We seem to have lots of
volunteers on show day but need more for the pre-work. Contact Fred to help with
any committee.
QUARTERLY DINNER
The dinner was on Saturday, February 20 at the Puddlin’ Duck Irish
Pub, off Two Notch in the Northeast area of Columbia. Twenty-nine
members and guests attended and enjoyed the buffet, which was
set up in the dart room. Despite its being a bit crowded for such a
large group along with the “regulars” (after all, this is a Pub!), it
was good food and a good time.

NEW MEMBERS
Welcome and Cheerio to Clyde Fraser with a racing Sprite and Dave and Millie Headrick with
their newly restored 1962 MGA.
DRIVE TIME
The drive to the Rush’s in Camden, scheduled for January 24, was changed to January 31. The
weather forecast was NOT good -- stormy.
So we set off January 31 for the trip. The weather was different – cold with ice glistening on
the trees and dripping on the cars as they wound their way down US 1.
Page 2
There were 11 British Beauties, one BMW (the Stakis’ new car)and several ‘others’ that met at
Rush’s on US1 in Camden. We pigged on burgers, fries, chicken, banana splits, milk shakes,
etc. It was a fun afternoon and we were all home by dark.
Those who went were Eric and Bonnie, Ron and Jerri, Pat and Tony, Bob and Ellen, Brad and
Val, Fred and Betty, Walt and Iris, Chris and Brenda, Tom and Diane C, Steve DG, Steve R and
Madell D, Wally and Sonya, Robin and Vance, Noree and Phil, Mike and Susan E.
We plan to do DRIVES in the cold weather and SONIC in warm weather (3rd Saturday of the
month beginning in March). The first SONIC drive will be to the new one in Ballentine, March
25th.
NEW SOURCE
