Original Clothing Promoting a Positive Image

HOODS-G (Helping Our Own Do Something Good) is a

clothing line from All Neighborhoods Gear that is for
our community. It allows neighbors to wear popular
and stylish clothing that says they love their neighbor-
hoods and want to be a positive factor within them. It
is true that anyone can wear these clothes. Through
marketing, we will show that this clothing line is not
only fashionable, but it also makes a statement. We
will not perpetuate negative people or images with our
clothing line that serves an international customer
base.

Equipping the Youth of Today

Our objective is to launch a positive clothing line that

will help our youth and maintain their style simultane-
ously. The organization that supports this plan will
have the opportunity to have an impact on tomorrow's
leaders. We will be able to evaluate this plan by
counting the number of informed youth who are saved
from a life of misinformation. Our clothing line is
categorized in hoods. Each one of the hoods deter-
mine what clothing you can wear and if you don't fit
into the hood, then you can't buy the clothing from it.

alot of things about John's Island that you all don't

you know bout Esau Jenkins? I told Geechee One if
they're going to be the Carolina Guide to Geechee
livin', they needed to come "cross da waddah".
John's Island plays a big part in the history of
Charleston. Did you know dat John's Island is the
second largest island in the United States? Every-
day the island is becomin' inhabitable. By saying
dat, it means the islands are losing their
independence, because we don't eat what we grow
anymore. We rely on the supermarkets. Another
known fact is dat Esau Jenkins was the first Afro-
American from John's Island that ran for school
board in 1956. I asked my Uncle Bill Saunders
about growin' up here. He said it was the way of
life. Uncle Bill said, "We used to work from kin 2
kan." This means they used to work from when
they could see 'til they couldn't see. There are a lot
of historical places here. The Progressive club
(which gained national recognition), Moving Star
Hall (where the society formed in the 1800's), The
famous Angel Oak Tree, and there are places like
the John's Island Airport (Dats right we got our own
airport, but I neva gon fly from it doe). People
here participated in the hospital strike in 1969.

You emerged on the Hip-Hop scene in 2006,

what caused you to make the decision to
rap?

Well back then I was just spitting little free-

styles. People would bite my freestyles, use
it in there material and make money off of
my work. So I made my first single, “Da
Club”, which featured Scrilla and Nickel.
That is what set it off.

How do you feel a year into your career?

People recognize me. I’m doing it and I feel

that have done it before me. What took
them like five years; I’ve done in one year.

about my fans. I see them in the back,
shake there hands, then I go out and give my
fans what they came to see, a good perform-
ance. After the show I’m not in the back with
them, I’m in the crowd with my fans.

are pretty much the people I listen to.

call yourself the “King of the Mix”. This is all
due to how you popularized the words “mix’

What made you do that, was it in an effort to

No one really knows who really started using

We all go through our various trials in life and we all deal with them in
a way we deem reasonable to us. I like to try to make since of every
situation I encounter and try to learn a "life lesson" from it, and use it to
better myself. Recently I have went through a series of events that has
caused me to not only look into myself but look into the company I
keep. This really got me to thinking about how people are just like
window tint. Stop looking at me sideways, I will explain. Window tint is
designed so you can clearly see out but make it hard for you to see in.
The lower the percent of tint the harder it is to see through it. We all
have our fair share of tint that we put up because we don't want to
seem transparent to others, but the amount of tint we put up really
shows the type of person we really are. Most people are content with
the "factory tint" that we came with. It's just dark enough that we are
not completely transparent to others but it does shield enough that we
feel safe with ourselves. At this level we are still capable to look back
on ourselves and be able to see the same faults that we are so easy to
find in others. At this level others don't have to get to close to know the
real you, they don't have to work to hard to see the real you. Then you
have the people that go for the "after market" tint. These are the people

flawless, perfect and in no need of change. Change is good. Change is
the best for some. Change is needed for others! But you know what?
I'm happy with my factory tint. I'm happy with me. I'm happy with my
life. I'm happy with the people I now have around me. Sometimes
switching out those dark, unsatisfactory tinted people for those factory

going to keep removing those uncertain, too dark, unacceptable dark

independent, never nags, loves to dress sexy for her

after the club. When Wifey is acting up and Baby Girl is

over for a few hours. He can meet with the Side Piece
for reasons other than sex, but normally that only
happens one week during the month. Side Pieces are
hard to spot when they are out because most of her
friends are either Wifey's or Jump Offs. Drawback of

others who do so by how much monetary gain that they can pocket… they know
who they are.

I smoke to this mixtape, I smoke smoke smoke… and no, not at a gas station. I get
high, I don‟t get stupid.

DJ Yuneek is the first female DJ in South Carolina to drop a mixtape and it‟s titled
IN THE CLUB VOLUME 1. It is featuring tracks such as Hit the Dancefloor by DJ
Unk, Chop Me Up by Justin Timberlake, They Know by Shawty Low, and slows it
down with tracks from Ashanti, Mario, Keshia Cole, and more.

The unique thing about this mixtape is that it is professionally blended and mixed
unlike a lot of other mixtapes that are out here in the Lowcountry. There were no
voicetags from other DJ‟s, no website plugs like I heard on some other mixtapes,
no exclusive jacking from other mixtapes, and no evidence of limewiring, kazaaing,
or napstering. DJ Yuneek is a breath of fresh air to this stagnant mixtape game
here in the area. The last couple of mixtapes I copped were not mixed well and
not beat matched properly. The last one, which I received for free at Walmart by a
local rapper by the way, had songs with voice tags, website advertisers such as
AOL Radio, and was just track after track lined up… not blended at all. DJ Yuneek
mixes a unique mix. Download at www.datpiff.com for free…

The Return of the Body Snatchers, a mixtape mixed by the official DJ of G-Unit… DJ
Whoo Kid, is good enough to be the next G-unit album. G-Unit came correct on this
one, they put 100% behind this project and it pays off well. Yayo, 50, and Banks
bring some real heat on this mixtape, but Young buck is noticeably absent on this
one, though not officially off G-Unit, news of his release will be out real soon. Some
cats are saying that he is looking at signing back up with Cash Money. After he
said he banged Lil Wayne‟s woman, Trina…. yeah right, picture that.

G-Unit comes smooth on Like a Dog and gully on The Mechanic. My favorite track
is I’m Leaving… that track bangs hard with a nice bass sample that rides hard in
the truck, and the flow 50 spits is hot. Yayo trying to come correct… he brought a
lil heat on this one, though the hardest, as always was Banks.

Make Me Feel Good originally had Buck closing it out, but they 86ed that ni**a on
this mixtape. Why do „em like that… he the hottest out of all of them anyway, he
join the right team, it‟s a done deal!
