INTRODUCTION:
Walkman was introduced in 1979; we have been able to enjoy our favorite music on the
go. Today, MP3 players are becoming the Walkmans of the digital age, allowing us to
take up to 1000 CDs worth of music along in a small pocket-size device. This feat is
made possible by compressing the music into digital format and storing it on memory
components that are also used in computers.
MP3 players (also known as portable audio players or digital music players) are small
devices, ranging in size from as small as a Zippo lighter to pocket-sized products,
intended for storing and playing digital music. Earphones are used for listening to tunes
that have been downloaded into the device from a computer. A small screen displays
information about the songs and with the addition of a few keys; the player can be
operated through a menu system.
Since the music is stored digitally in MP3 players, music of the correct type has to be
downloaded to the device. This is done by either extracting the music from CDs with a
special computer software (an activity known as ripping), or buying the music from
online music shops, such as Music match or classical. At the moment, we are not aware
of any local music shops where you could walk in and buy the latest Atif Aslam and
straightaway load it in your MP3 player. Instead, you have to manage the loading of the
music by yourself.

You will be able to drown out all the construction noises, kids crying, and any other noise
that you deem annoying while you are trying to concentrate or just relaxing on the beach.
These MP3 Sunglasses allow you to very easily upload songs via the USB 2.0
connection, so you can always have your favorite songs with you no matter where you
decide to go. If you are out jogging or driving and remember not a little amount a memo
all you have to do is use the built in voice recorder to keep your message. You will not
have to stop and write it down.
Our MP3 Sunglasses consist of a pair of light-filtering lenses and a frame to hold them in
place. The vast majority of lenses are made of colorized plastic, such as polycarbonate.
However, glass is still employed for high quality brands. The highest quality lenses are
optically accurate and do not distort shapes and lines. These lenses, like camera lenses,
are made from distortion-free ground and polished optical glass. The borosilicate glass
used in these lenses is scratch resistant and is made impact resistant by tempering it with
various chemical treatments.

Design:
The technical design of the mp3 Sunglass very nice, the glasses are extremely light
weighted. The MP3 Player components are well integrated into the temples. The casing is
held together by little screws. The integrated headphones are adjustable.
Reliability:
MP3 sunglasses (available in black or gray) are boxed up nicely from the factory with the
shades, USB cable, instructions, soft cloth for cleaning. A charging adapter is an optional
accessory, which probably should be standard, but the eight hour play time on the
included battery should give you plenty of audio fulfillments without having to recharge
immediately. The directions are in English and are easy to understand to operate all
functions on the shades.

already available in the market. We are introducing sunglasses with Mp3 Player.
Although MP3 sunglasses are in market but people do not have awareness about it. We
use different marketing strategies to promote our product.

Market potential mean “A set of consumers who show some level of interest in a
designed market offer”,
Our targeted customers are youngsters. Youngsters have vast market potential.
According to our focus group survey we have examine that most youngsters like to listen
music. Some people say they use to listen music 2 to 3 hours. And according to our
market survey with different shop owner they told, the customer who buy musical

devices are youngsters and they have variety of products in music. Approximately one
shop owner sales 100 plus items of music including mp3 sunglasses daily. So according
to these surveys we can say mp3 sun glasses have a lot market potential because the total
population of Pakistan is 172,800,048 and in this population, 58% are those people who
are between 15 to 64 years. Our targeted customers are Youngsters. Pakistan is a country
where a large number of youngsters and they are our potential customers.

FOCUS GROUP
In this method, the focus group we conducted it was comprised of 10 participants. We
recorded their views and preferences about the product to take next steps in our product.
This twenty minutes focus group interview helps us a lot for the analysis of customer
point of view what they want and prefer to buy. Most of the participants want to buy the
product and some of them not know about the product what it is? But when we
exchanged our ideas about the product they seemed very excited to buy it.
And the result we found are:
• 96.4 % likes music
• They listen music 2-3 hours daily
• 82% are those who unaware about Mp3 sunglasses
• 57% are willing to buy Mp3 sunglasses

MARKET SURVEY:
To test out market share and initiation of our product we conducted a market survey and
focus group to check the response. For this purpose we design a questionnaire that assert
what research seeking to discover and which design should be used for analyzing the
data. For this purpose we selected close ended questionnaire method to check market
demand of our product.
OBSERVATIONAL METHODS
The value of observation method is that it permits researchers to study people in their
native environment in order to understand "things" from their perspective.
In this method of data collection we observed and recorded the relevant facts, actions,
behaviors, characteristics, attitudes, opinions or possessions of individuals about our
product. We are confident for launching our product as many of them give the expression
of excitement and amusement for such an amazing product.
