Character Costume Analysis in a

Thriller (The Dark Knight)

 Batman
• Batman has a black outfit which
helps him camouflage into the dark
where he likes to keep himself
hidden. His costume is custom
made, so that it would be the
perfect fit for Bruce Wayne. The
Batmans costume can protect him
from a lot of things which would
normally kill a person. In my
opinion his mask gave the best
effect out of the whole costume as
it only shows half his face this is a
good effect because the viewer
would focus a lot more to check if it
is the same person actually acting.
 Joker
• The Joker has a very
plain suit, during the
movie it is mentioned
that his clothes are tailor
made they have no
design, the Joker isn't
interested in fancy
clothing. His suit is navy
blue, he has wall paint
on his face. He has 2
scars on his face to show
that he is always smiling.
