Licentiateship programme
The licentiateship programme is a qualification award which is open for all
technical/skilled people/persons, who have two (2) to fifteen (15) years of
working experience in the concerned trade with relevance with the
engineering, Art, management, designing etc. Accordingly on the basis of
their experience and test by an assessor appointed by the institution,
either by continue professional development or direct method. The award
will be given on the recommendations of the board of assessors, and level
from 1 to 5 confirmations has taken up with board.
The award comprises on a certificate and a professional identity card, and
should be renewed yearly basis. The award will touch every subject area
where experts are available within the institution. The new candidates
have to complete two years (Internal-ship) of IPD under our associate or
member, who have no working experience but bent to learn specific skill.
Eligibility:
Minimum age: 14+ for IPD with minimum Academic Qualification
8th Standard (level 1)
Minimum age 19+ for Full award of Licentiateship with five year
working experience in concern subject area (for level 2)
Consent from parent or guardian.

Associateship programme
The Membership Committee of the IET decided that an associate
member of the Institute is open for all Certificate holder of any
trade/branch of occupation /profession.
An Associate member shall devote the majority of his/her
professional time to the engagement in concerned field of
working where he/she has registered and have passed any
Industrial trade test of government of India.
Candidates for Associate membership must complete an application and
include the following materials. Incomplete applications will not be
considered.
A resume including professional experience/ employment history and
educational background showing a minimum of three (3) years of trade
related experience as an independent worker or equivalent experience or
fill a prescribed form of ITE.
Two letters of reference from individuals who are familiar with your work
and not your current employer. If possible, please include at least one
Associate /Member/corporate of ITE.
The Associateship is also open for Licentiateship holder of the Institute
with relevant experience and qualification acceptable by the board of
assessors of the Institute.
The programme is based on the Apprenticeship programme for new
candidates.
Eligibility:
Matriculation or 10+2 with science subjects or (other for designing
trade)
Minimum age 16+ for IPD
For Full award of Associateship age: 18+ with relevant experience,
with ITI certificate in related branch/trade.
A technical desertion in relevant subject with research/collection*
