of Family and Child Services
60% of these were entered into the data
system & accepted for services
10,184 of those entered were investigated,
substantiated, & closed
73.9% of all cases are NEGLECT
10.8% are cases of PHYSICAL abuse
4.6% are cases of SEXUAL abuse
22.3% are cases of EMOTIONAL abuse

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
The month of April is National Child Abuse
Prevention Month, and to celebrate PCABC
holds their annual Picnic for Prevention on
the front lawn of the Bulloch County Court-
house. Organizations from throughout the
community come for a day of food, live
music, raffle prizes, and fun to celebrate the
children in our lives as well as those who
are in need of help.
