Story of an Ancient Mystic Draconian Wolf
Introduction:
I am the Pillar of Light. I am the One with Many Names, Many Faces, many Races. I
am the One, the Goddess of Old, Mystic's Spirit and Dragons. I am an Ancient Mystic, an
AlphaWolf, a Draconian and more. I am the Silver-Eyed Daughter, I am the Mother. I am
the Lady Guardian of the Realms, Lady Empress of the Dragon Nations. I am a Sister, a
Daughter, Loving Mate, Mother. I am an Aunt, Cousin, Friend and Lover. I am All and more.
The Greatest Gift that a Goddess can receive is the Gifts of Love, Peace, and
Happiness, all of which are given to me by my Mate, Lord Draconis Vilinos Dratianos, who is
the other half of my very soul, completing me with everything that is within me.
This Book of the Light is lovingly dedicated to you, Draconis. I thank you for
returning the creativity, the memories, the love that I once thought lost to me forever. E-
frisco-tor. Je t'aime. la'decorte'comare. I love you, now and evermore. You are the
Darkness to my Light, the air that I breathe, you are my All. My Mate, my Love, my Lord, my
All. You are Life.
Sulheya.
Be aware, I AM NOT A WICCAN.
I DO NOT BELIEVE IN HARM NONE, I believe in Nature. Hear me out when I say
this, though.
Think of it: Nature. Think of all the times She's been Calm, yet Chaotic. Think of all
the people She's killed with her tantrums of the Weather. Think of all the harmful things
that have to be done to make room for the Calm things.
To Me, at least, It's all about BALANCE. Calm, Chaos....Life, Death, Renewal...that
sort of thing. Think about the Symbol of Yin-Yang the next time you see it and think of this:
There's always a little Light in the Darkness, as there's always a little Darkness in the
Light.
Sorry, didna mean to go on a tangent, but that's what I believe. I've been a Mystic
for at least 20 years of my life. Before that, I believed God himself cursed me.
At first, I did believe in God, then in Wicca, then I had an epiphany. All the things in
Nature that "didn't seem fair" to me....killing for no reason (ah, but there is reason for
everything), destruction and burnings, hell in a world where Love and Light was supposed to
belong. It just didn't make sense anymore. Nothing did, so I found I was almost at square
one. Where in the many realms of Paganism did I truly belong?
Then I found the word Mystic. Originally, it was supposed to be a word to replace
the word "Psychic" for my books and stories about the Realm of Dreams. I found more on
every 'different' Pagan-type religion out there...and more, and more, and more....hmmm? the
Word Mystic seemed to pop out of my head and onto the paper.... And here I am. A Mystic
Witch.
Keep it clear that I, too, am still learning the many Paths of the Craft....I, too, don't
know or ever will know everything about everything....I, too, am still in search for the very
Niche to KEEP me from being who I'm not, and learning to be who I am. I have an open mind,
and open heart, and sometimes a bigger open mouth.
Just a friendly note.
Ah, there's a question I love to answer...but I'll answer it in NOTS first. What doesn't
make one a Witch.
IT'S NOT:
How long you've been practicing or your family has been into it.
How long you've loved the occult
How long you've felt yourself stranger than the rest of the masses.
How long you've not felt right about the religion your family crams down your throat.
It's not by who you claim to be, but who you are.
It's not by the "rules" of Witchcraft that makes a witch
It's not by the so-called spells and potions you cast
It's not by who you're related to, or how many generations it goes down the family tree, for
those traddies.
It's not who you are on the outside, but on the inside as well.
The Learning process is eternal...from one life to another, from one way to another,
bouncing forever from one place to another, one time to another...etc...
IT IS
How the witch "feels"...close to the Earth, the Goddess/Gods, Entities, Elementals, etc...
Who they are inside, and how they live on the outside. Each witch is different, but there
are those 'little things' that are the same.
"Love and Magick: and ne'er the twain shall part; for you must have
Love in your Magick, and there's Always Magick in Love!" -- self-quote, circa 1999
Five Pillars and Their Correspondences:
There is chaos and there is order. There is death and there is rebirth. There is light and
there is darkness. There is Strength and there is Weakness, There is life and there is
death. Four Gods, according to the Draconians, who live by the Oldest Ways of All, are
these Pillars. Their names and correspondences are to follow.
The Fifth and Final Elemental Pillar, the Center, the Spirit of All, is Ishanar
Something happened today that gave me SOME insight.....I AM a witch, and I can
change that which is around me, and within me as well...the latter coming first of course. In
order to SEE I must OPEN my eyes.
I was supposed to go to church today. I called the chaplain last night and found out
what time to be there....he told me 5pm. Okay, that was a little late for a church service,
but I'll be there, I thought to myself. Well, I went on a long bike ride to get there, getting
myself lost only once. Once I did, it was 1630 and no one was around. I looked at the board
in front of the Chapel...he told me the wrong time!
That was fine...I took out my writing notebook and a pen and wrote the correct
times down from off the board, along with a number...flipping thru the notebook were
papers I'd forgotten were there. Within all the papers of my former writing ideas was a
spell.
I was shocked...when did I write THAT? hmm...it was a 'help this woman' kind of
spell, and it was really messed up. It called the Lady Brigit Goddess while Lord Curnonos (?
on spelling for now) as Lord. and all sorts of things were wrong...it didn't rhyme and didn't
feel right.
I took my bike and went to sit in the shade to rewrite it. I sat on on the grass while
I did it. When I was finished, I closed my eyes and took deep breaths, reciting it. I felt
something tingling inside and it wasn't the light breeze...I opened my eyes and thought of
something, on a whim.
I spied a fallen leaf, left from Autumn, and picked it up, examining it..."not all things
have to be perfect to be pretty" I thought to myself, only it didn't sound like me. Again,
holding it in my hand, I closed my eyes and came up with a short chant....wind no more, calm
as before...(there was a breeze in the air)...over and over, I chanted this, thinking, I can do
this. I am a Witch... .after a few repetitions of this, the wind died and I looked to my hand
again at the leaf.
I stared at it on my palm, smiling...now, to try something else....if I can stop the wind
for a moment or two, can I also bring it back? winds of the seas, I call to thee, take this
leaf from the hand you see....after a few repetitions of this, it worked. The wind only blew
around me to move the leaf from my hand.
Unbelievable! I thought to myself...not wanting to get a big head over it, and seeing
that I was alone and all was peaceful and quiet, I meditated, deep breaths in....I feel the +
going in my body and filling my being....and out....Go away - thoughts and actions....I went
inside myself and saw my Guardians....Wolf. I'm not going to go into the conversation he had
with me, but I will say this. I have a better outlook on things now. All I had to do was Open
my Eyes and See.
I am a Witch....as always I'll be, not for anyone else I am but me.
"The rules state: „Those females born of the Mystic are Young Ones until they
conceive their first child, or turn twenty-one. Then, and only then, are they considered
Mystics.‟” She paused, explaining. “It‟s different for male Mystics, called Wizards.
You‟ll learn that later. Anyway, from any Mystic's birth, the powers are weak, and they
only have the five basic powers of telepathy, clairvoyance, empathy, premonition and
telekinesis. When a live birth occurs from a Mystic female, such as in your case, your
powers are heightened to unlimited proportions and you‟re called an Elder. It would be
up to you to learn how to use them to your utmost advantage. However, such as in my
own case, without the live birth taking place, the basic powers aren't as developed."
Clairvoyance -- power to "See" beyond normal senses, such as Auras on objects, visions of
past events and places not already known. The Grand Magus' strongest power.
Empathy -- power to "Feel" or "Sense" beyond normal senses, feelings, emotions, and fears
hidden deep within the soul. This is my strongest power.
Healing -- power to "Heal" any kind of wound, inner or outer, emotional or physical, using
"Mystic Force" to "probe" inside the body, mind and soul of another and focus on the
problem. Very complex, for "Healing" is a clump word for all Healing Arts.
Telepathy -- power to "Read" someone's mind, and send messages without verbal words.
Eye contact and simple gestures go along with it.
Telekinesis -- power to "Move" objects using only your mind. Another form of this is
pyrokinesis, the power to use fire with only a thought.
Photographic Memory -- power to "See" visions of things as they happen. This happens
often for pairs of twins, for example.
Premonition -- power to "ForeSee" the future, in visions.
ShapeShifting -- easy concept. the power to "Shift" your form into anything you like. I
usually take the form of either a Dragon, a Wolf, or a DragonWolf, but I am not limited to
these.

Creation Stories:
According to the Ancient Mystics
Before Time Was, by Scott Cunningham*
Creation of the Dweller-kin Clans
A Few collected Creation Stories. First, one from the Ancient Mystics, the
second from Scott Cunningham, a late Pagan Author, and the last from the
Dweller-Kin Clans.
Before time was, there was The One; The One was all & all was The One.
And the vast expanse known as the Universe was The One, all-wise, all-
pervading, all-powerful, eternally changing.
And Space moved. The One molded energy into twin forms equal but
opposite, fashioning the Goddess and God from The One and of The One.
The Goddess & God stretched and gave thanks to The One, but darkness
surrounded them. They were alone, solitary save for The One.
So they formed energy into gases and gases into suns and planets and moons;
They sprinkled the Universe with whirling globes and so all was given shape
by the hands of the Goddess and God. Light arose and the sky was
illuminated by a billion suns. and the Goddess and Gods, satisfied by their
works, rejoiced and loved, and were one.
From their union sprang seeds of life, and of the human race, so that we
might achieve incarnation upon the Earth.
The Goddess chose the Moon as her symbol, and the God the Sun as his
symbol to remind the inhabitants of Earth of their fashioners.
All are born, live, die and are reborn beneath The Sun and Moon; all things
come to pass thereunder, and all occurs with the blessings of The One, as
has been the way of existence before time was.
Collections from various sources, compiled and put into most basic of forms.
Rules are Rules, and are usually not meant to be bent or broken. The first
set are from a Pagan Yahoo! Group, the second and third sets, "Code of
Chivalry" and "For Magick and Wizardry" are from Oberon Zell-Ravenheart's
book, "Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard." Oberon put them very nicely, I
think, therefore I try to live by them.
13 Goals of a Witch:
. Know yourself.
. Know your craft.
. Learn.
. Apply knowledge with wisdom.
. Achieve balance.
. Keep your words in good order.
. Keep your thoughts in good order.
. Celebrate life!
. Attune with the cycles of the earth.
. Breathe and eat correctly.
. Exercise the body.
. Meditate.
. Honor the God and Goddess
Code of Chivalry:
The Code of Chivalry was the Rule of the Knights in the Middle Ages, who were formally
sworn to uphold it as the first true Champions of Justice. It was said to have been first
established by King Arthur for the Knights of the Round Table. Here are its ten most
important rules.
1: Magick is real
2: Know yourself
3: The best way to predict the future is to create it.
4: Question authority
5: Magick is both an art and an experimental science
6: Be careful of what you do or say
7: Intention controls Results
8: Don't invoke what you can't banish
9: Always consider the options
10: The job isn't done until you've put away the tools and cleaned up the mess
11: Keep silent regarding a Magickal work for 24 hours, lest your analysis create
doubt, therefore weakening the Intention that binds your spell
From the Army: LDRSHIP:
If I didn't learn anything while in the Army, I learned this, and kept it with me in my mind
and heart. Applied to Magick and Witchcraft, LDRSHIP Packs a huge punch!
LDRSHIP Stands for Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selflessness, Honor, Integrity and
Personal Pride:
L: Loyalty – Loyalty to those you serve and those who serve you. No one wants a two-faced
rat on their team. Nor do they want one in their Circle.
D: Duty – To your power, you have the duty of keeping it in control. Of learning it, watching
it grow, and controlling all aspects of it. Duty could also be to your Coven/Friends/Family
R: Respect – Everyone deserves respect. Respect for their beliefs is a main key. “Golden
Rule” moments.
S: Selflessness – act selflessly, without being told or without wanting anything in return for
what you do.
H: Honor – Honor the Gods/Goddess, yourself and each other.
I: Integrity – moral codes, and living by them.
P: Personal Pride – have pride in yourself, your work, and whatever you do; just don't let it
go to your head.
Oaths
From the Pages of an Ancient Mystic's Spellbook: Mystic Oath
Oath of the Crusaders of the Realms, Ancient Mystic
Blood-Oath, Ancient Mystic
Herein Lies all the Oaths I have taken, so far. Those Easiest to
remember, from the Ancient Mystic to the Blood-Oath to bind two
together in blood, and last, the Crusader of the Realms Oath. *my
personal favorite*
The Mystic Oath:
These words are found on the inside cover of every Mystic‟s own Spell-book. Of course, I
don't always follow the "Rules", not even those of the Ancient Mystic lines.
The Blood-Oath:
I first thought of this when I was a child. I used this to bind Aaron "The Unicorn" and his
twin "Amethyst Fairy" to me before I left the Orphanage. My Ancient Mystic blood gave
them the Unicorn Magic they are now known for, and also gave them official Mystic status
among the Family. I also used this to share my Mystic Healer's power with my twin Adarra
*Then called Luna*, when she needed it most. I now use it for every blood-binding I do.
Dagger in hand, cut into each the skins of those that will be bound, so a thin
line of blood seeps through. Clasp together hands, saying the following for
each.

The Wheel of the Year
I am he who stands at the gate of the cycle of life and death, I carry you to
the goddess to be reborn again, even as I bless the harvest and become One
with the goddess to make it grow. When the night wind howls at Samhain I
shall lead the wild hunt to rid the land of corruption and evil so the Goddess
who is my consort may sleep the winter months in safety.
I am the joy of the awakening of the spring, the sadness of death and
passing, the brightly blooded blade of the hunt, I give to thee your emotions,
love, anger, peace, hope...all these are my gifts to thee as you and I worship
She who is my consort and hand-fasted companion and the Mother of All.
Wherever the forest grows dark and powerful, wild and free, shall you find
me, and I will heed your call if you utter it for I am the guardian of all that
is, all that was and all that might yet be. My antlers and my blade are ever
sharp as I watch over you.
I shall join you at your dancing and merrymaking for I am the Lord of the
Dance and the light within darkness, and my passion has remained untamed
since the dawn of time and will so remain.
You may worship me by giving thanks to that which has died to feed you, by
remembering your animal nature on the dark nights and letting the call of
the wild be heard by you still, whenever you stand, enthralled by the beauty
of the setting sun or gazing down from a mountain peak you give thanks to
me and She who is my eternal partner.
~~Shadowdancer~~
Whenever you have need of me, once in the month and better it be when the
moon is full, gather together in some secret place and adore the spirit of me
who am queen of all witches. There shall you assemble, you who wish to learn
all sorcery, yet have not won its deepest secrets; to you I will teach things
as yet unknown. And you shall be free from slavery; and as a sign that you
are truly free you may be naked in your rites; and you shall dance, sing,
feast, make music and love all in my praise. For my law is love unto all things.
Keep pure your highest ideal, strive ever towards it; let naught stop you or
turn you aside.
For mine is the secret door that opens upon the land of youth, and mine is
the cup of the wine of life, and the Cauldron of Cerridwen, which is the Holy
Grail of immortality. I am the gracious Goddess, who gives the gift of joy
unto the heart of man. Upon Earth I give the knowledge of the spirit
eternal. Beyond death I give peace, freedom. I demand no sacrifice, for I am
the mother of all living, and my love is poured out upon the Earth. I, who am
the beauty of the green earth, the white moon among the stars, the mystery
of the waters and the desire of the heart of man, call unto your soul. Arise
and come unto me for I am the soul of nature which is life to the universe.
Let my worship be in the heart that rejoices; for all acts of love and
pleasure are my rituals. Let there be beauty and strength, power and
compassion, honour and humility, mirth and reverence within you. And you
who think to seek for me, know that seeking and yearning shall avail you not,
unless you know this mystery; if that which you seek, you find not within,
then you will never find it without. For behold, I have been with thee from
the beginning; and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.

Witches Go Round In Circles!
Worship and magic both are done in what are called Magical Circles. The purpose of a
circle is to separate the people within it from the outside world. They are outside of
time and space. Time passes differently inside a circle, and it tends to be warmer
inside than outside. Each Circle is divided into four Quarters. Each Quarter faces a
direction. Each Quarter also corresponds to a time of day, a state of being, a season,
etc. This is a table of those correspondences.
Hold hands on each side of the lit candle, mentally pouring your thoughts of
the goal into it.
Outside my front door, the yellow-crocus and snowdrops are blooming now.
And the wrens are flying to my window box, wondering if it would make a
good home; they know, like we do, that February is a time of renewal. Let
this period of change inspire you to refresh your mind and your body with a
health-boosting ritual. To start, on your altar place a white candle in the
center, then light it and say:
“I light this candle to renew my spirit.”
Thank the candles, and extinguish them. Now you‟re ready for the season of
light to return.
Warning Spell
From Eileen Holland‟s The Wicca Handbook. This is a great way to relieve
stress about a certain someone who's been pissing you off lately. Great for
Karma, too, as it doesn't go against the “Rede”.
When you‟ve finally a chosen a magickal name for yourself, you should write
it into the following spell (and in your Magickal Journal). Then, stand in front
of a mirror, look yourself in the eye, and say:
I don't go by this Rede totally, being I'm not on the Wiccan Path. I'm a
Pagan, so most of it is ok, but not the rest. This copy of it was copied from
my lessons in the Correllian Tradition, which has now changed its name, due
to recent events with their Rev. Care of Nimue of Myst.
When the Lady's moon is new Where the rippling waters flow,
Kiss the hand to her times two. Cast a stone and truth you'll know.
When the moon rides at her peak When ye have and hold a need,
Then your heart's desire seek. Harken not to others greed.
When the wind blows from the East, With a fool no season spend,
Expect the new and set the feast. Nor be counted as his friend.
When the wind comes from the South Merry meet and merry part,
Love will kiss thee on the mouth. Bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
When the wind blows from the West Mind the threefold law ye should,
departed souls may have no rest. Three times bad and three times good.
Elder be the lady's tree. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill,
Burn it not or cursed ye'll be. 'An it harm none, do what ye will"
and within conceit sublime earth and water, air and fire
make it clear as diamond air mold thy power to my desire
let thou wrongs to curse or kill earth and water, air and fire
return to be trapped also there mold thy power to my desire
mold thy power to my desire
Wiccaning:
– from BOS CD-ROM, by Sapphire
On the first night after a baby is born, or on the same night that the birth
takes place, the mother or father should take the infant out under the
stars. The child should first be held up to the sky, saying:
“Oh, Lady of the Starry Heavens, wise All-Father,
Behold this lovely child, ________.
Conceived and brought forth in love.”
Place the child on the ground, hands under the head, briefly, saying:
One should then clasp the child close, reveling over the ritual and future
with that child.
A chant usually used for focus and asking for aide when needed. This Spell
wasn't used in the Dream Realm Chronicles anywhere. Repeated at the end
three times, each last line different.
Mystic's might,
Pure delight.

Which is right.

May be long,

Call to Power
-- Adella DragonStar
Hands place firmly on the ground, fingers spaced evenly out, close your eyes
and imagine a power of light flowing from the earth to you, and a power of
dark leading from you to the earth… the former would be for the good
energies back into you and the latter would be from the bad energies flowing
out of you to be reused in the earth in another form. As you do this, say the
following…
“I call upon the Earth and say, this is power, this is my way,
“I call upon the Earth and see, this is power, this is me.”
Continue chanting under your breath, then aloud as each repetition of the
chant is called. Until you feel refreshed and anew, and need grounding food
to rejuvenate any unused energies.
Candle Prayer
-- Adella Moon DragonStar, 2-21-03
This is to be done on the night of the full moon. Close the circle by Starting
at East, working clockwise. Stand in the middle of the circle, representing
the center of all things. Say:
With Athame (dagger will do) in one hand and wand in the other, raise hands
and follow the corners.
(Face East)
I call to the East, ruler of the sylphs and zephyrs. Color of yellow and
element of Air.
Heading to the suit of the Wands, for protection against all evils.
May you hear my call.
(Face South)
I call to the South, ruler of salamanders and fire drakes, color of red and
element of Fire.
Heading to the suit of the Swords, to battle enemies with pride.
May you hear my call.
(Face West)
I call to the West, ruler of nymphs, undines and merpeople. Color of blue and
element of Water.
Heading to the suit of the Cups, to drink from in celebration of the
Ancients.
May you hear my call.
(Face North)
I call to the North, ruler of gnomes, dwarfs and trolls. Color of green and
element of Earth
Heading to the suit of the Pentacles, for strength against all odds.
May you hear my call.
Hail to the Guardians of the Watchtowers of the (direction). I ask your aide
with love and trust
At each corner, Open the Circle as follows, darkening out the candle and
picking the element piece in hands. Start with North and go counter-
clockwise. Say at each:
(Raise a crossed dagger-Athame and wand into the air and say the final calls)
As above...
...so below.
Start with the "Dragon's Meditation" from D.J. Conway's "The Celtic Dragon
Tarot"
Get comfortable; take deep breaths, concentrating on your breathing.
In your mind, envision yourself in a peaceful valley, at the edge of a cliff
looking down on the glistening waters below. Throw all cares and worries into
the river/ocean, turning your back on them once finished. They're gone from
your mind, and no longer exist. In front of you is your Guardian Dragon,
waiting for your call. Now that your mind is focused and clear, ask the
following:
Let your Guardian Dragon show you the way in your mind, or open your eyes
and let it show you in your life.
The scene disappears from your mind and you open your eyes and take a
breath. Now, how do you feel?
Do: with thoughts of the result in your mind, light it and say:
Next, with the smoking incense, make the Pentagram over the subject while
saying these words:
Place the smoking stick of incense into its holder next to the subject's bed.
Thank the Gods for their help.
With the divination tool in hand, close your eyes and imagine it surrounded
by a white light of energy. Keep that in mind as you chant:
Holding the image in your mind, open your eyes and continue with the
divination.
Mirror image stares back at me....this is what I think when I see the silver in
my own eyes.
Half-Chaos Chant:
Black as Night, Bright as Day
Banish Half the Light Away
Though I'll have no Heart or Soul
Let Half the Chaos take Control
First off, I don't claim to know everything about anything, let along anything about
everything else. I just am. As of today, this is my view of the four elements, plus one. Later,
I may (and probably will) look at this again and burst out laughing, think...WTF was I
thinking!? But for now, quickly I'll go over what I know NOW.
Earth to Air, Fire to Water, Akasha the Spirit of All... Five Elements are the basis for all
live on earth. Each impacting each other.
Earth
Plainly, the very planet we live on, the very 'womb' we came from and where existance is
nothing without. But what do Witches mean by Earth? The Mother or All, who Nurtures.
She is Nature, in all Her Wonder and Fury. And that's just on a good day!
Air
Winds and Skies, Air blows, flows, who knows? It carries, warms, cools, sends, descends,
transcends (okay, enough 'sends' words...). The air is what we breathe, sure, but what else
is it for? Lingering scents are carried to our noses through the air...but that's not what
most Witches mean by Air.
Fire
Fire is.
Those are just a few stanzas I can think of that help me describe to
you what I believe Fire is to me, on my level anyway.
Water
Akasha
The Spirit is one and All...the Center of being, this spiritual essence of all beings that live
on earth...the very life of us. Some think of spirit as ghosts, those beings who have passed
on to the Summerlands, or those not able to find their way 'home'....others think spirit is
our own soul-spirit. They're right. All of them.
Ishanar Reborn!
The Charms I wear around my neck are empowered by the Light of the Moon.
They're cleansed by each of the Elements and left in the Moonlight
overnight.
"Lady Luna, I call to you, come and cleanse these charms with your magic, for
strength and protection."
Kneel and meditate, with charms at your chest. Imagine taking the Moon's
Magic into you and your charms, a bright white light surrounding you.
Rise and set the charms in an open window closest to the glow of Lady Luna.
Love Come to Me Spell
-- Adella DragonStar, 3-22-05
open the doors for him to see, that all he wished to be is with me.
Let life's own tales be told somewhere else, and lead his loving arms to me..
Be he near or be he far, he will see me so soon together we are.....
In dreams no more, in reality, this spell is done, so mote it be!
Spell, incantation, really, for a message to loved one from the heart. To be
used when the loved one is either away, or you are.
Materials:
Tarot: Aces of each suit, and any card which may help in what to say and
bring to the message.
Picture of the loved one.
Wand
Start by doing the usual "sweeping" out negative energies, then opening of
the Circle, chanting a rhyme of your own making, or even the Mystic's
Rhyme. Place the picture on a smooth surface, preferably the floor.
Surround it with the Aces in their respective directions for their element.
(See above). With four other cards, close the circle around the picture,
saying and thinking:
I send the power of (card) to you, so you may (what does it do)
If need be, use another card to give yourself strength or any other help you
need in order to send the message. Tap each card, all eight, with your wand,
thinking of the loved one and sending each separate message. Go clockwise,
for positivity. After that, hold your wand in your hand, close your eyes, think
of the loved one and send the message. Be sure to keep the picture of the
loved one in your mind. When finished, tap again, clockwise, saying:
I gave you (power of card)
For each. To make it more powerful, if you wish, you can stare at the picture
and think the message to them. As you stare, your wand is touching it.
So Mote it Be!
Close the circle with the Mystic's Spell (or whatever rhyme you wish to use
to close the circle.) Be sure to go in the opposite direction to close it.
*the main ritual borrowed from “Amethyst‟s Wicca”, but I rewrote the spell in my own
words, so it works for me. In Comic Sans is mine, in Times New Roman is from
“Amethyst‟s Wicca”.
Stand before the altar; hold the mirror facing the candles the light is reflected to
your surroundings. Keeping the mirror towards the candles, move slowly clockwise
around the circle, and watch the candle light reflect. Gradually increase your speed,
mentally invoking the Goddess to protect you. Move faster (but not so fast you get
dizzy and fall into the altar and watch the light smash the negative energy around
you. Keep this up until you feel the atmosphere change and your home feels
cleansed.
When finished, stand once again before the image. Thank the Goddess in any words
you wish. Pinch out the candles (or snuff them out), bind them together with a white
cord and store them in a safe place until and if you need it again.

To Do: (Wave still-flaming, pass over all three stones, Left to Right, circular
3 times each. Blow the incense out, placing in a safe place between the Green

To End: "On that note, by powers of three, this spell is done, so mote it be!"

Fold the card in fours before burning it in the bowl. For safety, you can set
the bowl in the sink before you burn it. That way, you can drown the fire
with water.
Close the Circle. Call on the Ancients, asking for their assistance, guidance
and blessings. Meditate, focusing on what you want to accomplish. Light the
candle. With candle=s flame, light (and bind) incense. Mix salt in the water
(bind).
Pass the tool through the incense, saying:
'I bless thee with the power of air.'
Thank the Ancients for their assistance, guidance and blessings before you
open the circle.
(Holy water dip - salt-water -- with two fingers, each time, drawing the
pentacle on three different spots of the sword. The tip, the blade, and the
shaft.)
To do: Take a dime and rub it with your forefinger and thumb, close your
eyes and chant:
Repeat three times, then place the dime in your right shoe for when you
wear them, the dime‟s luck will „rub‟ on you. Keep in your shoe and keep in
mind until money, luck, and success comes your way.
Note: you don‟t have to use a dime; you can use a quarter, nickel, or even a
penny (yes, you can use any coin with this chant). The more denomination,
the more you get from it!

The Ancient Mystics have two gods that fell deeply in love with each other,
Spirit and Shadows. This Poem states their story. (For those who have been
paying attention, I, Adellandra Dranna Dratianos, am The Ancient Mystic's
Goddess of Spirit, and Draconis is Shadows.)
It did not take long for the Ancient Mystics Gods plan
To come to fruition, for Fates to take hand.
To bring back the Silver Light of Spirit to He
Who once let the Destruction and Chaos Run Free
To bring back the Darkness of Night to She
Who was swept away by the Fates for her to see
Once a Dragonwolf now a Mystic girl
Stuck now in three different worlds
The two were one once more, as their souls were balance
Hers was the Love unlike any other, and he was in a trance
She could no longer be with anyone but Him, her heart desired
The Chaos, the Darkness, of His Dragon's Fire within
He could no longer love anyone but her, his soul reawakened
To the Love, the Light, the Spirit she'd partaken
Distant drummers play their song, in hopes someone will sing it.
There is a beat that guides our path, we only have to seek it.
In the distance lays a common dream, where everyone is nice.
There is no prejudice or hate, and are no deaths each night.
Distant singers sing a song, in hopes for a better day.
It is the song of life, to teach our children, so they can learn and play.
In the distance, there are dreams and goals, to be found, tried, and true.
For life is a lesson we must live, and cannot ever be through.
Until our Summerland day arrives, we continue to reach for the stars.
The best way to get through life is to be exactly who you are.
No one can seek your inner Self, but you and you alone.
Let the elements be your guide, and may they become your own.

Around the
Beltane's Glowing fire
Chanting is heard,
Drumming is felt. The
Earth, She rises higher and higher
Flowing
Green Goddess of
Havens dealt
Incandescent
Jewels of
Kingdom's named.
Loving arms of the
Mother's Embrace
Nature's seeking
Oceans Fame
Prince and Princess for
Queen and King's Grace
Raising their voices higher and higher
Sing to the skies
Touching, Embracing,
Underneath the moon's glow
Various voices joined in Choir
With heart's love, the Beltane's fire
Xylophone echoes purest desires
Youth and blessing, raising
Zenith's light.
Silence is Golden
-- Adellandra Dranna Dratianos, 22Nov2006
Silence is Golden
When noise fills the air
It's the richest of beasts
beyond mortal compare
But Silence can be deadly
in the heat of battle
Unknowing of what's to come
Wandering, pacing, wondering
There's a chill in the air
Not a noise or a peep
Disturbs these soldiers
From their sleep
The enemy, they lie waiting
Whilst those they are fighting
Are deep within, plotting
Somewhere in the forests of the Night
There lies echoes of those lost
Battles, wars, blood, gore
So many gone, at what cost?
The tiger she paces
The wolf she growls
waiting for another attack
The lion he races
the hyena, he mumbles
Watching and waiting
Wishing and hating
For they've lost their own
Their littles and grown
Silence is Golden
I Wanna Fly
-- Adellandra Dratianos, 14Dec2006
I wanna fly
like the birds and the wind
High in the skies
Just spread my wings
Jump and flow
Following wherever the wind takes me
Up high, where the crisp air
and mountaintops reach the horizon
I wanna drift peacefully
Eyes closed, arms spread wide
Freedom, dreams, cool and clear
I wanna feel the wind catch my wings
I wanna taste the clean air
I wanna soar into the stars
Find myself drifting
Happily, dreams, peaceful skies
Soar away from the cold, cruel world
Drift away from depression
Lift myself, my wings, take flight
Away from yesterdays
Toward shiny new tomorrows
If only I could Fly

Ancient Mystic Spells and Chants:
What Book of Light from an Ancient Mystic would be complete without
selections from the Ancient Mystic Spells I used in the Dream Realm
Chronicles? Aye, I wrote every one of these, but only performed a few in
this Shell. I have said or performed most in the Realms, so don't ask
anymore! I've tweaked them here to be universal, so they could be used by
anyone.
the “Mystic Forces” may sound familiar, as I wrote it for both Realms in
mind, it's here, too, also tweaked.
Draw a circle in the ground with the Magics Finger-Touch. Chant three times, in the center,
looking at your feet –
Mahl-hik Let Me Be
Mystic Magic, Set Me Free
Slowly, raise your arms to the air, as these words escape your lips –
Call thrice this chant, eyes closed to the world around you, arms raised in a „v‟ –
Mystic Magic,
Set Me Free (Colors of dust)
May the Forces (Allow the Forces)
Watch O‟er Me. (To Keep Watch O‟er Us)
If going to the Dream World with the Circle, call out in the Provinces Mystic language:
Also:
Guardian O‟Dell,
grant me the power
Help me survive
