It's very important to use the correct form of the verb when we make sentences.
Verbs can be in their PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE tenses.

We use the "past tense” to express an action started and finished

at a specific time in the past. For regular verbs, we add "ED" to
the end of the verb to get the past tense.
Vocabulary
Example : I enjoyed my vacation.
She finished her homework early.
My mother baked a cake.
We played soccer.

We use the "present tense" to express that an action is repeated

or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event,
a scheduled event or something that often happens.

Example : I play tennis.

She does not play tennis.
She always forgets her purse.
The sun does not circle the earth.

We use the "simple future tense" when there is no plan or

decision to do something before we speak.

Example : I will enjoy my vacation.

She will finish her homework later.
My mother will bake a cake for my birthday.
We will play soccer this afternoon.

We use the exclamation point (!) at the end of a sentence to

show great surprise. We also use it to make what we say sound stronger.

Example : Wow! This house is huge!

I had so much fun at the beach!
Go away!
I forgot to do my homework!

It's nice to be back in school, isn't it?
Who is your English teacher?
What is your favorite computer game?
Where did you put my bag?
