Sally : I'm happy because I'm leaving tomorrow for a two-week English Camp in
Canada!
Bill : That's great! Are you going alone or with your parents?
Sally : I'm going without my parents, but I will be with students from other schools.
Bill : What do you mean?
Sally : The Ministry of Education chose ten students from different schools in Seoul.
These students will be sent to the English camp in Canada.
Bill : I don't mean to be rude, but how did the Ministry happen to choose you?
Sally : I think they chose me because I always get the highest score in our English
mid-term exams.
Bill : Wow, I did not know that!
Sally : That's because I don't talk about it.
Bill : Why not?
Sally : If I talk about my good grades, some students will think that I am proud and
boastful.
Bill : Some people will think that way, but some people will just congratulate you for
your hard work. I'm very proud of you.
Sally : Thanks! I'm just happy that I'll be able to go to Canada and meet different
kinds of people. It will be an interesting experience.
