vertently got his autograph and phone number, as I loved his music and asked if I
could find him on Facebook; he gave me the works! Another cool thing is that people
of all colours, shapes, sizes, and ages turn out to see whos going to turn up to per-
formand to perform. this is a treat for these old eyes, because, as a volunteer for
the Arts Council for many years, Ive been used to audiences of the achromatic colour
of maximum lightness.
But the very coolest thing is to have someone come up with an idea and, with a
little encouragement and support from friends, a bit of financial support from the
Arts Council to provide a nice sound system at a reasonable rental rate, and a perfectly
awesome venue with splendid staff, here it is a happening! Last week boasted a full
house, babies to elders!
Bravo! Brava! And thanks to all those involved! I cant wait to see who will turn
up this thursday! 6:30 sign-up, 7-9 performances. And please dont miss the Bluebird
Coffee house, Saturday from 7-10 pm at the Country Music hall of Fame. Its going
