he is a living, breathing folk festival whose
songwriting has been appreciated by the

over 100 solo albums, learned to play 15
instruments across multiple genres — old-
ies and classic Rock & Roll, Vintage Blues,
R&B, Motown, Classic Country and world
music— and has written lyrics and music
to over 1600 original songs.

a Passion for Giving
The latest gallery show at the NV Arts
Centre, is an invitational art exhibit fea-
turing the Nicola Valley Quilters’ Guild,
from Jan 18 - Feb 25, 2024.
This art show is a beautiful collec-
tion of quilts and accoutrement from
the members of this active, talented, and
community-minded group. The quilts on display are from the personal collections of
the members, new pieces for sale, and some that will be donated to good causes in the
community. There is a Meet and Greet on Friday, Jan 26th, 1-4 pm with quilting demos
in the Studio next to the Gallery. Please come and join in that day, to see the exhibition,
watch the quilters in action, and enjoy some hot tea and refreshments.
The Nicola Valley Arts Centre is open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10am to
5pm, and on Sundays from 12pm to 4pm. (Closed Sundays for January 2024).
