Description:
Comprehensive Online Relational Environment (CORE) was developed to provide SHPS, Inc., a
centralized database/program across all products and services. SHPS, Inc. infrastructure permits
Clients to store their employee data in a centralized database and provide flexibility to the most
complex plan designs. The unique database structure permits customized benefit programs based
upon specific employee groups.

SHPS, Inc. works with the Client to collect specific plan information located in the Case Detail Brief
(CDB) to ensure program adherence. Information, such as Web Participant Human Resource (HR)
Access, Supervisor Access, and Integrated Voice Response (IVR) that is collected from a Client must
be entered into the Company/Client Setup level before entering participants into the Customer
Service Representative (CSR) level.

Scope: Total Absence Management referred to as TAM denotes an automated information system for
tracking employee leaves and absence. Maintaining a history of each participant (employee), TAM
ensures an effective and efficient system to track leaves. The product assists large, mid-sized and
small companies to track their employee related absence and leave plans. TAM provides an able
support to all these companies in managing and supporting their productivity measurements. Total
Absence Management offers a single point of contact for leave notification, tracking and reporting.
The product provides the companies to focus their business efforts on their core activities and remain
competitive. TAM participant login provides a medium for the participant to access and manage leave
types. The participant has the facility to complete the return to work process, extend, and cancel
leave plans. New information on email and address can be provided for SHPS to contact the
participant during the leave period. The participant can also download relevant forms and
applications available under the client’s leave kits.
