    PERMITS ISSUED FOR DECEMBER 2010 TOTAL MORE THAN $12 MILLION

    The City of Tucson Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) has completed the reviews
    and issued more than 58 commercial permits for Tenant Improvements and New construction projects from
    December 1-31, 2010. The total projected dollar valuation is more than $12 million that will benefit the
    Tucson economy.

    Some of the recently permitted projects include:

    • New Elephant Exhibit at Reid Park located at 3400 E. Zoo Ct


    • Tenant Improvement adding the new Restaurant “The Hub” downtown at 266 E. Congress St
    • Tenant Improvement for a new Restaurant “Hummingbird Café” located at 7002 E. Broadway Bl
    • Addition of new Manufacturing space at Tucson Precision Products, 6601 S. Renaissance Dr

    As of February 2010, Planning and Development Services has been issuing monthly reports showing the
    total valuation of new construction and improvement projects being permitted in the City of Tucson. The total
    valuation since the inception of this monthly report has reached more than $200 million.
