PAGE 1: MANSION LAB. DAY.
1: Gerome shines the light of his torch into the gloomy lab
as Erique shimmies down the last few feet of the rope.

GEROME GASLAMP
will you take a look at this lot!
ERIQUE GASLAMP
if you allow me to get down first
yes I will.

2: Gerome grabs his brother and lifts him off of the rope.
GEROME GASLAMP
I mean this is some pretty
specialised equipment

ERIQUE GASLAMP
hey! let me down, let go of-
3: Gerome drops Erique the the floor. he lands on his
backside.

ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)

*umpf* thanks for that
4: Gerome steps away from the rope and the light above, into
the gloom. Erique brushes the dust off of his jacket.

ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)

how does anyone work is such a
filthy lab?
GEROME GASLAMP
so it is a lab then?
ERIQUE GASLAMP
from my initial analysis yes I’d
say that’s exactly what is is

5: Erique pulls a torch from his pack and points the beam
into the lab.
SFX: clik-fum

ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)

now lets have a closer look shall
we?

PAGE 2:
1: Erique points the beam of his lamp into the corner of the
room.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
there we go, if you would be so
kind Gerry
2: Gerome is standing in front of a large junction box, a
huge red lever is in a downward position.

GEROME GASLAMP
sure why not, I enjoy heavy lifting
ERIQUE GASLAMP
just hurry up will you

3: Gerome has powered up the lights to the lab using a

toggle switch on the wall. In front of them stand a row of
huge glass tanks several are broken. To their left stands a
long desk littered with a variety of scientific equipment
and chemicals. This is mirrored on the opposite side of the
room.
ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)
hmm... interesting

PAGE 3:
1: Gerome stands in front of a still intact tank. Inside
sits a thick, dark liquid. Erique begins to look over the
desk.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
looking at this I’d say Mr Fettly’s
concerns were justified.
GEROME GASLAMP
wow! truly astounding dear brother
2: Erique does not turn away from the paper work on the
desk.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
I choose to believe you are amazed
by the equipment in front of you
and that’s not sarcasm little
brother

GEROME GASLAMP
me? sarcastic?

ERIQUE GASLAMP
just be quiet and keep looking
3: Gerome turns away from the tank and heads for the
opposite desk. Inside the tank something stirs.

ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)

at least he was trying to create a
vaccine. Even if his work was a
little heavy handed
4: Gerome turns from his side of the room to face his
brother.
GEROME GASLAMP
heavy handed?
ERIQUE GASLAMP
the compounds he has created here
will boost the immune system,
making it almost impenetrable to
most known forms of infection but
it appears to have a flaw

GEROME GASLAMP
ha! I’ll say pretty big one at that
5: Erique lifts a journal from the desk and examines it more
closely.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
he has used a number of animal
samples in creating his wonder drug
and all he seems to get from it is
an abundance of concentrated
adrenalin, which burns out quicker
than anything I’ve ever seen
before. Look
6: Gerome and Erique stand looking over the journal in the
center of the room. Their backs to the tanks. A light above
one turns on.
GEROME GASLAMP
so whoever uses this stuff will
turn to fangs and fur but--

ERIQUE GASLAMP
exactly, you may as well give them
cyanide and a gun for all the good
it’d do

7: A bell sounds from the tank with the newly turned on

light.
SFX: Ping!

PAGE 4:
1: The brothers turn towards the now active tank.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
what did you touch?
GEROME GASLAMP
why is it always my fault?
ERIQUE GASLAMP
perhaps it was when your girth
destroyed half the building
2: Gerome pulls his pistol from the holster, Erique removes
his weapon from the holster inside his coat.

GEROME GASLAMP
this place is old, and I’m not fat!
ERIQUE GASLAMP
shut up and get ready we don’t know
what’s in there

GEROME GASLAMP
maybe its like what’s in number
eleven at home
ERIQUE GASLAMP
guh, please don’t
3: The tanks quickly drains all the fluid inside it.
SFX: FLUUUSSSSHHHHH

GEROME GASLAMP
here it comes!
4: Erique and Gerome stand looking puzzled at the contents
of the tank.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
not entirely unexpected I suppose
5: Inside the tank, crumpled on the bottom is a naked man.
He lies there motionless.

GEROME GASLAMP
yeah but its not something you ever
really want to see now is it?
unless you like this sort of thing

6: The man in the tank jumps to life in frightened

exasperation.
MAN
*GASP* uh god
ERIQUE GASLAMP
quickly get him out.

PAGE 5:

1: Erique searches the wall for a release mechanism. The Man

inside the tank begins to hammer on the glass. Gerome stands
back slightly shocked
MAN
*kaff* ’elp me please *kaff*
ERIQUE GASLAMP
damn it Gerry help him
GEROME GASLAMP
y-yeah, okay hang on

2: Gerome turns and searches the room looking for something

he can use to break the glass.
MAN
please ’elp me

GEROME GASLAMP
just a minute, have you out of
there in a jiffy!

3: Gerome spots what he needs.

GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
ah gotcha!
ERIQUE GASLAMP
will you bloody hurry up?
4: Gerome steps up to the tank and raises his blunderbuss
above his head.

GEROME GASLAMP
you might wanna step back fella’
5: Gerome slams the butt of his blunderbuss into the tank,
it cracks slightly on impact. Erique hops away from action.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
Stand back sir cover your eyes!
GEROME GASLAMP
come on you little-

SFX: CL-link!
6: Gerome slams the butt of his blunderbuss into the tank
once more, the cracks run along the face of the glass. The
man inside continues to hammer from the inside.

SFX: crack crunch

PAGE 6:

1: The glass front of the tank explodes and the man come
flying out. Gerome is knocked over by the glass and Erique
takes cover under the desk.
SFX: CRASSSHHHHH!

GEROME GASLAMP
gah!
ERIQUE GASLAMP
*umpf*
2: The brothers turn and look at the man half way across the
room curled up on the floor.
GEROME GASLAMP
d’you see that?

ERIQUE GASLAMP
yeah
GEROME GASLAMP
strong for a little fella

ERIQUE GASLAMP
little yes but for how long?
3: Erique stands and dusts himself off. Gerome looks up at
him quizzically.

GEROME GASLAMP
what d’you mean by that?
ERIQUE GASLAMP
well ask yourself this, why was his
in the tank to begin with?

GEROME GASLAMP
well he was-
4: Gerome jumps to his feet and readies his gun. Erique does
the same.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
remember don’t panic we are in
control here

5: The man on the floor lifts his head and reaches for the
brothers limply.
MAN
*ack*
6: The Brothers stare at him ready for action.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
steady now
GEROME GASLAMP
I am steady, shut up
7: The man stretches his arm out further towards them.
MAN
run...

8: The man collapses to the floor finally losing his battle

to stay alive.

PAGE 7:

1: The Brothers lower the weapons, Gerome appears happy with

the result. Behind them on the wall two more lights appear
above the last two working tanks.
GEROME GASLAMP
run? from what? I’m sorry but after
all that I’d at least expect him to
limp at me or something

CONTINUED: (2) 8.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
that’s enough Gerry

2: Gerome places his blunderbuss into the holster on his

back. Erique crouches over the man. The two tanks let out a
sound to announce their draining will commence as it did
before.
GEROME GASLAMP
I’m aware that a man has died but
all I’m saying is I was expecting a
little action-
SFX: Ping! Ping!

3: Gerome turns and looks at the tanks as the liquid inside

them disappears. Erique looks up from the deceased man at
his feet.
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
lets see what else we’ve got the
shall we?
4: The first tank explodes and out steps a Test subject 1 an
almost fully formed wolf man. The creature lets out a roar
as it towers over Gerome.

TEST SUBJECT 1
RRROOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!

PAGE 8:

1: The Test wolf throws a huge arm at Gerome lifting him off
of his feet towards the ceiling.
SFX: SMACK!

GEROME GASLAMP
arghh!
2: Gerome hits the ceiling of the lab and punches a new hole
in it as he did on the way down.

SFX: KR-UNCHH!
3: The test wolf jumps up after Gerome knocking pieces of
the ceiling away as it clambers though the gap.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
Gerry!
4: A piece of the ceiling knocked loose by the test wolf
falls and destroys the glass front of the final tank.

SFX: KSSHHH!
5: Erique peers though the newly sprayed dust and dirt
searching for the contents of the tank before him.
6: Erique steps back in horror as the shape in the murk
begins to form.
ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)
oh my god...

PAGE 9: INT. MANSION LOBBY. DAY.

1: The test wolf is searching for Gerome, its massive head
hung low protected by huge muscular shoulders.

TEST SUBJECT 1
*Sniff sniff*
2: the test wolf peers through an open door into one of the
adjoining rooms and sneers.

TEST SUBJECT 1 (cont’d)

*grrrrrrr*
3: the test wolf steps towards the door continuing its
search. Its ears cock at a noise from above.

GEROME GASLAMP
hey dog breath...
4: Gerome plummets from an ancient chandelier barely holding
on to a rotting ceiling. His fist is tightly packed ready to
deliver a crushing blow.

GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)

didn’t nobody teach you any
manners?
5: the test wolf reels from the impact.

TEST SUBJECT 1
a-rook!
GEROME GASLAMP
ha! not so clever now are ya?
6: Gerome lands and glares at his enemy. The wolf, supported
by a wall wipes the blood from its jaw.

sunshine, first lesson...
7: The wolf and Gerome lunge towards one another.

8: the pair collide with huge force and continue their
brawl.

TEST SUBJECT 1

GEROME GASLAMP
Grragh!

PAGE 10:
1: The test wolf lands on top of Gerome and snaps at his
face.

GEROME GASLAMP
*Guh!*
SFX: SNAP!

GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)

ha! you fight like a sissy!
2: Gerome begins to roll the test wolf over onto his back.
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
you can’t just bite a fella, you
use that as a last resort ya
savage!
3: Gerome is now on top of the wolf his fist raised in the
air once more.

GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)

second lesson is rules of the fair
fight <or at least as fair as I’ll
go> you’ve got to work your
opponent a little first with these
4: Gerome drops another huge blow onto the jaw of the
creature.
SFX: CracK!

TEST SUBJECT 1

GEROME GASLAMP
its a noble art this is y’know,
using yer hands, its like making
art
5: Gerome lifts his fist again. his sentence is cut short as
he notices the wolfs foot beneath his stomach.

GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)

although I wouldn’t expect a dumb
creature like yourself to
understand something as complex and
skill full as-

6: Gerome is thrown though the air by the massive leg of the

beast.
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
thiiissssss!

7: Gerome crashes though the banister of the staircase. The

test wolf is pulling itself up onto its feet.
SFX: WHA-CK!
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
arrgh!
TEST SUBJECT 1
*grrrrr*
8: Gerome looks up from his collapsed, crumpled position on
the staircase and spots the wolf who is in mid flight coming
straight towards him.
GEROME GASLAMP
oh god!

TEST SUBJECT 1
ROARRRRR!!!

PAGE 11:

1: Gerome rolls to the side clambering up the debris

littered stairs. The wolf slams into the wall. Its head
exploding though the paster on the other side.
SFX: Kra-Doom!

GEROME GASLAMP
GARGH!

TEST SUBJECT 1
*grrrrr * woooooo!
2: Gerome begins to back way from the trapped wolf up the
staircase. The wolf is desperately trying to free itself
from the wall.

GEROME GASLAMP
woah there spot we already agreed
no biting yet!
TEST SUBJECT 1
Bark! Bark!
3: the wall around the wolfs head begins to crack and
crumble.
TEST SUBJECT 1 (cont’d)
*grrrrrrrrrrrrr*
4: The wolf breaks free throwing its head back and letting
out a cry. Gerome is further up the stairs now still moving
away.

Awoooooooooooooh!
GEROME GASLAMP

PAGE 12: INT. MANSION LAB. DAY.

1: Erique is backing away from test subject 2, another wolf.
This one is more disfigured than the others. Almost half way
through the metamorphosis from human to wolf.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
okay then Erique, be brave...
2: The hybrid takes a step closer exposing its disfigured
fangs.
TEST SUBJECT 2
Garghhooooooo!
ERIQUE GASLAMP
try harder to be brave!
3: Erique is backed up against one of the work benches now.
he is trapped.

think man! what’s the best course
of a-oh! course of action?
TEST SUBJECT 2
rrreettt... ooooooooooddd...
4: Erique is taken out of his moment of fear as he tries to
understand the slurred sounds of the hybrid.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
reet ooud? reet?
5: The hybrid gnashes its jaws together, saliva splatting
across its chin. Erique enjoys his eureka moment as he
deciphers the broken language.

ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)

eat food! it said eat food. I’m
food! me!
6: The hybrid swings a claw in the direction of Erique who
ducks out of the way. Several glass jars and tubes are
broken by the swipe.
ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)
woah! I don’t want to be food
TEST SUBJECT 2
grahhhh!
7: Erique rolls across the floor out of the way. the hybrid
turns to face him.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
you don’t want to eat me, I’m tough
and chewy and rather bland, not
much sun y’see. Now Gerry, he’s
like grass fed steak you’d like him

8: Erique reaches for the lamp he dropped earlier. The

hybrid moves closer to its prey.
ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)
just depends on how you like your
steak really, I’m guessing you’re a
pink and bloody kind of chap. I
personally prefer mine a little
more-

PAGE 13:
1: The lamp explodes on the hybrid who writhes and scream in
terror.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
Well done!
TEST SUBJECT 2
Aarrooooooooooooooo!!
2: The hybrid stumbles backwards smothered in flame. Erique
stand watching victoriously from across the room.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
hahaha! got you, you scientific
atrocity.
TEST SUBJECT 2
*yelp*
ERIQUE GASLAMP
that’s what you get when you tangle
with a genius
3: flames fly off of the hybrid as it shakes them like rain
from its back.

TEST SUBJECT 2
*huff* grrrrrrr *huff*
4: the hybrid drops to the floor and tried to roll the
flames out.

*yelp* oooooooowww!
ERIQUE GASLAMP
ah... genius may have been too
strong a word
5: the hybrid begins to stand all but a few smouldering
embers remain on its fur. Smoke rises from all over its
body.

TEST SUBJECT 2

ERIQUE GASLAMP
that bit I understood clearly...

6: the hybrid leaps though the air towards Erique who

prepares himself for the end.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!

PAGE 14:
1: The ceiling collapses under the weight of Gerome, the
first test subject and the old chandelier. The burnt,
mutated wolf is caught underneath it as it breaks though
from the upper floor. Erique is still stood in shock waiting
to be eaten.
SFX: BOOOM! RUMBLE!

TEST SUBJECT 2
Y-ark!

PAGE 15:

1: The pile hits the lab floor and kicks up more dust and
debris. the flames in the room illuminate the smog leaving
the survivors as fuzzy silhouettes.
SFX: fffuum!

ERIQUE GASLAMP
*Kaff Kaff*
GEROME GASLAMP
ughh...

ER
*kaff* Gerry?
2: A shape moves on the pile of chaos. It is Gerome.

GEROME GASLAMP
give me a minute will you
ERIQUE GASLAMP
Oh Gerry I thought that thing had
eaten you! Come on we’ve got to get
out of here
3: Gerry falls off of the pile and onto the floor blowing
smoke and dust away as he lands.

GEROME GASLAMP
umph! I leave you alone for two
minutes and you try and burn me
alive

ERIQUE GASLAMP
this wasn’t exactly planned you
know
4: Gerome begins to stand when he slips on something unseen
on the floor.

GEROME GASLAMP
its always excuses with- god what’s
that?
5: Gerome picks up his dropped blunderbuss and eyes it
angrily.
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
ahh... where were you when I was
almost eaten?

ERIQUE GASLAMP
come on we have to go!
6: Erique is beginning to shimmy up the rope he climbed down
earlier. Gerome stand over the body of his fallen combatant
pointing his blunderbuss at it.

GEROME GASLAMP
didn’t even need it did I fluffy?
took you out like a man

ERIQUE GASLAMP
you can gloat when we are safe
alright now hurry up
GEROME GASLAMP
once more man has conquered the
beasts of this land and is still
top dog
7: the test wolf opens its eyes and looks at Gerome directly
8: As it moves Gerome panics and fires his weapon, point
blank into the creatures chest.
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)

TEST SUBJECT 1
Garr-ook!
SFX: BOOM!

PAGE 16: EXT. MANSION GROUNDS. DAY.

1: Erique and Gerome are running away from the mansion.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
what the bloody hell was that?
GEROME GASLAMP
what?
ERIQUE GASLAMP
you shot at something!
GEROME GASLAMP
oh that- my gun went off nothing
major

2: Erique and Gerome reach their small camp where they left
the horse and carriage.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
just went off my left foot! you
were scared

GEROME GASLAMP
I was not!
3: The brothers begin quickly packing their gear away
stuffing it messily into the carriage.

GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)

I’ll have you know that not only
was I not scared, my heroic bravery
saved you and your fat head big
brother so quieten down and pack
faster
4: Erique scrambles into the seat next to Gerome as the
carriage sets of with a crack of the reins. Erique almost
slips off with the force of the start.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
well go on then- woah! regale me
with the story of how you defeated
the beast

GEROME GASLAMP
I’d love to but don’t you think we
should get further away from the
burning building first?

ERIQUE GASLAMP
I don’t think the flames will reach
this far you simple-
5: The mansion behind them explodes in a huge fire ball.

SFX: BUH-DOOOOOOOM!!!

PAGE 17:
1: Erique peers over the top of the carriage as it makes its
way down the path from which they entered the night before.
2: Erique quietly stews as he looks back at the burning
rubble. Gerome smiles smugly to himself, looking straight
ahead down the path.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
do not say a word Gerome Gaslamp...
not one syllable
GEROME GASLAMP
I wasn’t--

ERIQUE GASLAMP
att!!
3: Erique sits back down and continues to sulk.

4: Gerome opens a small hatch in the bench that separates

them.
5: Gerome pulls out a small packet wrapped in a cloth.

GEROME GASLAMP
meat pie?
6: Erique answers without looking at his brother.
ERIQUE GASLAMP
yes please... that would be nice
7: Gerome smiles and takes the reins in both hands as Erique
pulls a small case from inside his jacket. The pie is sat on
his lap.

GEROME GASLAMP
well seen as we’re out of the woods
or should I say burning death trap
how about a war story?

ERIQUE GASLAMP
okay then, want some?
8: Gerome makes himself comfortable as he prepares to tell
his story. Erique pulls a small knife from the case he took
out of his jacket. Inside is a collection of eating
utensils.
GEROME GASLAMP
oh yes please, now on with the
story. Gerome verses the more or
less wolf man- err make it a decent
sized portion

PAGE 18: INT. MANSION UPSTAIRS. DAY.

1: Gerome reaches the top of the stairs, the test wolf is
half way up and gaining.
2: Gerome dives down the hall as the test wolf lunges at
him, the wolf slams into the wall with its huge shoulder.
SFX: thud!

3: Gerome runs down the hall with the test wolf in tow.
4: the test wolf knocks Gerome though an open door into a
small study directly above the lobby.

GEROME GASLAMP
wuh!
5: Gerome rolls to a stop in the middle of the room. the
test wolf is now mid-flight fangs and teeth aimed at Gerome.

6: Gerome hits the test wolf over the head with a metal
standing lamp sending it crashing to the floor in front of
him.
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
*hurrh*
TEST SUBJECT 1
*yelp*
SFX: WHAM!

CONTINUED: (2) 20.

7: The test wolf lays dazed on the floor. Gerome stands

triumphantly above it. The floor around them begins to
crack.
GEROME GASLAMP
HA!
SFX: CREEEAAAAAKKK

INT. MANSION LOBBY. DAY.

8: Gerome is holding onto the metal pole which held the

chandelier to the ceiling. beneath him is the dazed test
wolf. underneath him is the top of the chandelier. all of
them falling though the air directly down towards the floor.
Gerome looks terrified.

PAGE 19: EXT. COUNTRY LANE. DUSK.

1: Gerome is sat animatedly re-enacting the story of his
fight with the test wolf. Erique is sat captivated.

GEROME GASLAMP
Then he tried to wrap his jaws
round my throat and that was when I
really got angry! I grabbed its
head and began slamming it into the
floor. The blows were so hard the
floor began to crumble around us
and luckily for you my immense
strength saved your hide
ERIQUE GASLAMP
wow...
2: Gerome settles back down and looks a head down the lane.
ERIQUE GASLAMP (cont’d)
that was amazing! and that part
where it started to punch though
the bricks trying to get to you...
GEROME GASLAMP
its almost too mad to be true!

ERIQUE GASLAMP
yes it is...
3: The pair of them sit in silence looking out over the
countryside before them. London can be seen in the distance.

4: Gerome shifts in his seat. they continue to watch the

world go by.

GEROME GASLAMP
you don’t believe a word of it do
you?
ERIQUE GASLAMP
not at all

GEROME GASLAMP
thought so
ERIQUE GASLAMP
you fell over didn’t you?

GEROME GASLAMP
yeah pretty much
5: Erique lightly punches his brother on the arm.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
it was an entertaining story though
GEROME GASLAMP

6: The carriage rounds a corner and begins to disappear in a

dip in the road.
GEROME GASLAMP (cont’d)
so just how did you manage to burn
down an entire mansion?
ERIQUE GASLAMP
ah well there is immense skill
needed in such an act

PAGE 20: INT. GASLAMP OFFICES. LIVING ROOM. DAY.

1: Erique and Gerome sit on the couch, they are both dressed
in their nice cloths. Mr Fettley is sitting in a chair by
himself.

ERIQUE GASLAMP
thank you for coming so quickly Mr
Fettley we understand that you are
a very busy man

MR FETTLEY
my pleasure, I’m delighted to see
you have resolved the matter so
promptly

GEROME GASLAMP
that was our pleasure sir

2: Erique leans forward in his seat.
