Up and Over Baby Jumper

I called this up and over because you start at the back bottom edge and work
up and over to the front edge. It's all worked in one piece, sleeves and all,
purely because I hate sewing up so there's as little of that as possible. All
terms are UK. You won't use the full 100gs of wool and the finished item
should fit a 0 – 3 month old.

Need to Have

htc – half treble crochet
tc – treble crochet

See the picture below. This is what you'll have made.

Fasten off and sew up the side seams.

Button tabs

With back facing you join yarn in 1st st of neck opening. Ch 2, tc in same st
and tc in each of the next 4 sts. Turn, ch 2, tc in same st, tc in next 4 sts.
Turn, ch 1, dc in same st, dc in next st, ch 1, skip 1, (button hole made), dc in
last 2 sts, fasten off.

Work another button tab in the same way in the last 5 sts of the neck
opening.

Sew two buttons on front of jumper in position with button holes.

Sew in loose ends and you're finished.
