Basic Writing and Photoshop Exam

This examination will measure your progress and WOWBatangas ability coming from our week-long Multimedia and
Communications Seminar.

Part I. Communications (Online Publishing)

A. Five towns in Batangas still haven’t joined our Photo Contest. Write an article which
will inform the townspeople of the photo contest, tell them why they should join, and
persuade them into submitting an entry.

Timeframe : 30 minutes

B. In 10 minutes, research about your favorite Filipino Celebrity (Showbiz Personality,

Athlete, etc.). Write a purely SEO (Search Engine Optimized) article about him/her with 3
paragraphs consisting of 4 sentences each. Use all concepts taught to you by your
instructor. Hint: Research about his/her Bio and History, Career Highlights, and Current News.

Part II. Multimedia (Photoshop)

A. It’s 1:00AM in the morning. You just came home from covering the Bb. Tanauan 2011
Pageant. Although tired and sleepy, you know that you must edit the pictures you took
and post them immediately on our website and Facebook page. Reminder : Follow our
size requirements and put WOWBatangas watermark. Put a description on all of your
photo through the title. Invent if necessary.
Timeframe : 45 minutes

B. Design a 6x4 ft (wxh) 72dpi Tarpaulin for our Team-Building activity on Monday. Here
are the details:
