    The last part, "each prayer accepted and each wish resigned" is actually a parad ox. If you don't realize that you lack anything, then you wouldn't wish for anyt hing else. For that reason, you would have no prayers for something else, nor an y wishes for something that you don't have; so you would have no prayers or wish es. Knowing nothing, being innocent of any offense, and wandering in blissful ig norance, would be the happiest existence. Unfortunately, such an existence is impossible for rational man.
